Using the shack as your base, no matter which direction you choose to venture, there’s an array of experiences and activities to explore, 20 min to Hobart Airport, 40 min to Hobart, gateway to Richmond, East Coast, Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula. Trails End is our special place in Maydena , it's unique earthy but modern character and warm fire makes for a cosy and relaxing stay. The timber cladding and concrete floors give feel of a mid century cabin styled home. She is set in a lovely landscaped garden with magnificent views from most rooms, her kitchen seated areas are huge and overlook the mountains and garden area which lends itself to the comfortable gathering and unwinding of larger groups after a day on the trails.

The cottage is set on 13 acres and is private with your own fully fenced yard. We give you your privacy but if you need us, we are close by to assist. The cottage makes a welcoming break between Hobart and Strahan. Cottage caters to children over 12 years of age only.
