Nestled in the Welsh countryside, just into the Cambrian Mountains, it enjoys the splendour of nature and peaceful calm of times past. The accommodation is full of character and original charm, while maintaining the modern comforts of home. With its own garden, this former shepherd's cottage is surrounded by rugged hills and an unspoilt rural landscape at the very end of a single-track road.

Plas Y Cadno Grain Silo

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Nestled on a working farm in the Heart of Wales. A meticulously restored grain silo full of character and unique features; a study in using, re-using & recycling wood metal and functional parts. Seamlessly blending agricultural, industrial, & steam-punk; and warmed throughout with classical features and local salvaged hardwoods. Due to the design of the silo and its unique features it's more suited to adult guests only.

Step aboard The Toad, a beautifully restored 1921 GWR brake van (AKA Toad Wagon), once a vital part of post-war goods trains. Weighing 20 tons and brimming with original rustic features, this historic wagon offers characterful self-catering accommodation with a touch of luxury. Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food. Escape to a unique and quirky rural retreat. The literal English translation of Tŵr-Ffoledd is "Tower of Folly". We think that's a pretty accurate description given its dramatic tall outline and the unusual features found in the interior. It's a peaceful, dog friendly holiday retreat in beautiful Mid Wales close to the Brecon Beacons, Llanwrtyd Wells, Elan Valley and Builth Wells. Please note that the steep stairs make this property unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Stunning walks straight from the front door. One mile outside of Llanwrtyd Wells, Britain's Smallest Town, home of the Bog Snorkelling . During the summer holidays we only let for week long bookings starting on a Friday, unless it is a last minute booking.
