The Grant Park Farmhouse- Authentic Southern Charm

Make breakfast under the gabled ceiling of a pristine kitchen boasting vintage 1940s Youngstown kitchen cabinets. Combining white wood shiplap, oak scrap hardwood floors, and powder blue accents, this gorgeous home is steeped in historic charm. Expect to enjoy the natural light gleaning through the beautiful stained-glass windows. A rusted tin roof tops off this charmer, but it's the rainy nights where the rusted tin truly speaks to you. The farmhouse is a replica of what you see when driving through the beautiful rural Georgia landscape. Many of the old boards on the exterior were removed from a old home just south of Atlanta built during the civil war. The rest of the exterior came from an old cotton mill and a two room school house built in the early 1900's. It also has a tin roof that is most enjoyable during those rainy nights. The interior walls have all ship lap and bead board siding. The kitchen boasts an old wash board sink with matching metal cabinets from the 1940's. The four seasons porch overlooks the lake during full pool (Mid to Late April- Mid October) and a sun porch overlooks the front garden.
