For fun in the snow with your sled or toboggan try the hills and dunes in Ludington State Park. Big M cross country ski trails offers a 37 mile loop trail system located in the Manistee forest. If winter activities are not your thing and relaxing in a warm cozy cottage is we have you covered. We are looking foward to your stay.

With a wide open view over the lake and an open floor plan this cottage will not disappoint. Winsome Cottage is in the heart of Baldwin, home to the Pere Marquette and Baldwin River and is situated on Whalen Lake. Stay and cast a line from the row boat, or enjoy a short commute to any local lake or stream of your choosing. Centrally located for trail riding, or hiking, this place is a great location and newly remodeled with a driveway designed for 2 cars and a trailer.

Come stay at this no frills rustic cabin. You are in the middle of the woods on this property of over 13 acres, but are less than 15 minutes from downtown Baldwin. Close to Big Star Lake, beach access, and the public boat launch. Near multiple access points to the Pere Marquette River. In the winter warm up around the wood stove after snowmobiling. In the summer cool off in the AC after visiting the beach. Relax around the fire pit and enjoy the 6 burner gas grill.

When the lake is frozen enjoy ice fishing at its finest- pike, walleye, blue gill, crappie, perch. Come be my guest; relax, adventure and make wonderful memories in the cozy loft. Welcome to Tomacara a rustic craftsman style home with knotty pine interior, large resort-like great room with vaulted ceiling with incredible views of a no wake fishing & canoeing lake next to the Manistee Forest. The house was built to be a Shangri-La experience. The house and the location offers something for everybody's, taste and needs. This peaceful and very private setting has lake access and space for everybody.
