A stunning retreat, comfortable and relaxed, Cone House West is also the perfect place to come home to after a day of exploring. Eddrachillis House

Eddrachillis House is a comfortable, modern home with spectacular views over Badcall Bay and its islands, two miles south of Scourie on the NC500. The house is set in 100 acres of land including shoreline. The spacious open-plan living area contains a very well-equipped kitchen and dining area where you can dine under the stars. Dunaincroy farmhouse enjoys a unique setting on the Caledonian Canal midway between iconic Loch Ness and the town of Inverness (6 minutes either way.) The wilderness of the highlands and yet only minutes from the amenities of a major town and nearby transport hubs. It is also a great starting point for the North 500.

The cottage is a traditional 19th-century detached croft cottage perched on the hillside with far-reaching views up and down the Kyle of Sutherland to the hills beyond. It's a very homely cottage surrounded by its own garden offering peace and seclusion in a stunning setting and it's an ideal central location for exploring the NC500 as well as providing an opportunity to spot the local wildlife. Deer, salmon, pine marten, red squirrels and numerous bird species can all be seen close by.

Please Google or read the description in the photos of what a bothy is. If expecting a five star hotel do not stay here. Bothy with a comfy bed. One up from camping. enjoy the beauty and simplicity of the Strath Oykel scenery. A gas stove and a loo with a view. The Bothy benefits from a fire pit to enjoy sundowners and northern lights from, looking onto a loch. There is also a log burner for those chillier evenings. Bring drinking water and food. Everything else should be there.
