Only 10 mins drive and you're in the city centre. But with the cozy interior, picture-esque private garden and added luxury of a soak in the hot tub, you might not want to leave.

Enjoy a private outdoor space, the accommodation in the style of mid century, a living space with a queen bed and a bedroom with two king single beds, a private bathroom. The kitchenette has a microwave, electric jug, electric frypan, toaster and coffee plunger. There are plates/ utensils etc. Barbeque, hot plates and saucepans on request. Also the apartment is not suitable for mobile babies (a cot is available) nor children under the age of seven. A vehicle to get around is recommended.

Our quiet garden studio is ideal for those wanting a private space to stay when visiting family locally or working in Devonport or Auckland city. Madills cottage is conveniently located and equipped for either a short or long stay. Ideal for solo guest, couple or a small family. The house is private and can accommodate two couples or up to four guests (if you don't mind living in close quarters and sharing a bathroom). If you are bringing a baby/toddler, we can arrange a separate crib/cot for you. The house sits next to Madills Farm; a tree lined reserve with a loop walking track and popular playground.
