Two miles from Malton, this little gem is a great base to explore the beautiful local area a short drive from the historic city of York and the coast.

Relax in your kingsize bed, or unwind in the rainfall shower after a busy day visiting Castle Howard, Scampston Hall, Sledmere House, the coast, York, or wandering the Moors. Our country cottage has been completely renovated into a beautiful and stylish home. It is situated in an idyllic setting overlooking a stream in the North Yorkshire countryside, 4 miles from the small market town of Malton. This is an extremely peaceful place, entirely surrounded by fields. The cottage is semi-detached with a quiet neighbour. The cottage accommodates 4 adults, a child and a baby, in 3 upstairs bedrooms: 1 (king) double, 1 with two singles, 1 with smaller bed and travel cot.

With its double height vaulted ceiling and full height double aspect windows the open plan kitchen living diner offers a light and airy space to unwind and enjoy the view of surrounding fields. The bedroom has a Kingsize bed, Egyptian cotton sheets and En-Suite shower room. The Bathroom offers complimentary Bramley products and cotton bathrobes. Both areas are underfloor heated. There is a private garden.

Beautiful 18th century converted cottage attached to a farmhouse that was originally built as a folly to Sledmere House. An extremely peaceful setting with fantastic views entirely surrounded by fields and woodland. Complementary ground tickets will be included for access to Sledmere House and Gardens. Within Sledmere House grounds you will find the beautiful walled garden, deer park, rare breed farm and a delicious cafe serving home cooked food. A perfect getaway for the whole family.
