Seafret is a beautifully crafted shepherd's hut nestled in the Bride Valley on our four acre hay meadow, surrounded by rolling hills with the promise of the sea beyond. The meadow is rich in wildlife; in late summer the hay is harvested and during the winter months our flock of Gotland sheep come to graze. Beautiful, inspiring, and peaceful, Arthouse is a place to escape. This converted art studio in West Dorset is close to Chesil Beach and the Jurassic Coast. It is surrounded by wildflowers and features contemporary art and sculptures by artists Rouwen and Reeve. The space is complemented by mid-century modern furnishings, high ceilings, and exposed beams. All doors open to a private patio and a naturalistic garden. The Sauna, located in the gravel garden looks out onto sculptures and plants.

Nestled in the picturesque Dorset countryside, this charming Portland stone cottage offers a quintessential English retreat. Set within the grounds of a historic Old Rectory, the property is surrounded by rolling hills, lush meadows, and the tranquil River Frome, providing an idyllic spot for a holiday. It is all on one level,we are able to rent out the whole cottage also which creates an additional 2 bedrooms for extended family - we rarely rent this out to another party and is mostly empty.

Romantic hillside hideaway with outstanding views

A unique and romantic hideaway, Quarryman's Cottage is dinner on the roof terrace watching the sunset over Lyme Bay & Charmouth, stargazing from the luxury freestanding bath, epic views from the double shower, reading under the old oak tree, BBQ's & firepits, leisurely walks to The Anchor at Seatown via Golden Cap or the coastal path, the sound of birdsong, the glimpse of a deer, curling up in front of the wood burner in winter. It is a tranquil & heavenly escape from the bustle of daily life.

Self-contained bedroom, a sitting room and shower room. Your suite of rooms is separate from the house with its own entrance. The windows overlook the village duck pond and spring and pretty waterfall. There is parking, for your car, at your door. We're in a Dorset village with Trafalgar history, centuries old church, busy pub. The coast is only a couple of miles away. We are on the Dorset Coastal Path and the SSSI Jurasic Coast. £7.50 for a full Dorset breakfast. Evening meal £7 to £12.

Enchanting Manor Coach House

An elegant, relaxed home in the grounds of the Manor in this AONB with walks directly from the house. The pretty village of Winterbourne St. Martin (Martinstown) has a great pub and a super village shop both within a short walk. Close to the Jurassic Coast and spectacular country views, its the perfect place to chill after a walk, a day at the beach (approx five miles away) or visiting the many attractions in and around Dorchester. Guests have a private garden, and access to a tennis court.

Peaceful Annex in Puncknowle, stunning views.

At the end of a no-through road on the edge of the village, this quiet upstairs annex has stunning dual aspect country views across the Bride Valley. The large (32m2), warm and spacious room includes a simple kitchen area and there is a separate bathroom. The annex sits above our garage, accessed via a shared rear hallway. Puncknowle is a quiet village less than 2 miles from the beach, perfectly situated to enjoy the Jurassic coast. The friendly Crown Inn pub is a 5 minute walk away.

Hardy View Farm House

The house is set in the heart of Dorset countryside celebrating lives of Thomas Hardy, Nelson’s admiral, his birthplace in next village and his monument in full view of the house. The house of the other Thomas Hardy - writer of many English classics - is 6 miles away and open for public viewing. The farm sits on the old Roman Road with Roman burial grounds, Jurassic coast and seaside resort of Weymouth within easy reach as well as the Isle of Portland whose stone built London!

Private entrance from village lane into property. In the heart of the Bride Valley so perfect for all year round walkers and nature lovers. Jurassic Coast 5 miles away. One of the richest areas in the UK for hill forts and ancient earthworks. Very houseproud so regrettably no pets and no smokers.

Berry Farm Cottage

Berry Farm Cottage nestles in a private area of the grounds of Berry Farm, which dates back to the 16th century. It is located in the charming Conservation Village of Walditch, within walking distance of Bridport. The Cottage itself has 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms with an open-plan living space and is set away from the main house in its own private grounds, with 1,200sqm (0.3acres) of orchard garden, as well as an outside patio with table and chairs, with country views.

Kingfisher Lodge with Private Riverbank

A beautiful Lodge set in 7.5 acres with its own riverbank, situated down a Dorset country lane. Set amongst fields, the tranquil, peaceful surroundings make the accommodation perfect for those who want to get away.
