Self-contained studio flat in beautiful location

The Bedsit is attached to our beautiful Victorian family house, only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Kendal, hidden from sight within its own grounds, with a stunning garden. It has plenty of private parking and is only a short walk from the station - an ideal base for exploring the Lake District. The Bedsit is a private apartment, accessed through my costume workshop. We enjoy hosting visitors from all around the world, hoping that they will feel comfortable and welcome during their stay.

Enjoy a relaxing break in a beautiful Victorian townhouse in Kendal's historic conservation area, with lovely views over the town & nearby hills. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the large garden or take a 5 minute stroll into the town centre with its restaurants, coffee shops, bars and a wide variety of independent shops. Wander around the ancient castle, look for otters by the river or head off into the National Park to the tourists hotspots-there are frequent trains and buses nearby. Enjoy!

It has been in our family since the 70s and always filled with art, music and meditation. The space has a special feel to it - a great place to be quiet or to simply get away. You are a few minute’s walk from the town centre as well as stunning walks through woods and into the Lake District.

Pretty cottage, quiet location in view of the River Kent. All amenities walking distance with regular access to the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales. Kendal Castle minutes away, a nearby hotel offers pool and gym. Kendal hosts Brewery Arts Centre, one of leading arts centres in the UK. Parking is in front of the house. Welcoming guests from all nationalities, faiths and backgrounds, sadly no pets in the cottage. Children welcome with books/games/ toys adapted to age.

Fellside Nook is nestled above various ginnels and characterful old properties (5 -10 mins walk from Kendal Town Centre) and just below the Tram and Serpentine woods which offer lovely walks and hikes up on to the golf course and Cunswick and Scout Scars. Kendal is conveniently located for the Lake District National Park and the Yorkshire Dales.
