There are lots of walks from the cottage either on the South West Coastal Path or into the hills of Berrynarbor.

The Salt House offers independently run self catering holiday accommodation in a generously proportioned Victorian house on Fore Street in the heart of Ilfracombe's harbour area. The Salt House has two bathrooms (one ensuite) three large double bedrooms (one super king sized and two king sized beds which can be arranged as twins) a large kitchen dining room and a spacious, comfortable lounge. We love our place because of the location with magnicent harbour and sea views, the high ceilings and sense of history, and the cosiness after dark. Close to pubs and restaurants. Ilfracombe is full of family-friendly activities. Nightlife includes the Landmark theatre, cinema and a wide variety of pubs and restaurants. There is a bus stop outside. It is a great place for couples, walkers, business travellers, families (with kids), and groups of up to 6 people.
