This OFF-GRID, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. THERE IS NO RUNNING WATER and LIMITED ELECTRICITY. WE DO HAVE WI-FI. The kitchen has a propane refrigerator and gas oven/stove. Solar power is used for lights and some outlets. Propane fireplace / furnace for heat. The "bathroom" is an outhouse. You bring jugs of drinking water. Hand and dish wash water provided. We supply coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices and firewood.

Biwabik Bungalow is an adorable 1 bed 1 bath home, with a new queen bed and a queen pull out sofa, in the heart of the Iron Range. Located on the legendary Mesabi and OHV Trails; it is close to Giants Ridge and Gilbert OHV Recreation area. Biwabik Bungalow is also centrally located to nearby Aurora, Gilbert, Virginia, with Ely and Duluth as an easy 1 hour drive away. We provide a fully furnished home and kitchen with AC for your comfort, complete with washer and dryer all on one level.

This cabin was built for family gatherings and a recreational retreat and has been in the family for years. We offer a place to sleep 4 with a pull-out couch, full kitchen, bar area, dining table and a small bathroom with a shower and sink. We also have an outside hydrant to rinse off your equipment or clean your fish and game. Be on the lookout for Moose, Deer, Bear, Fox, Grouse, and many of birds and listen for an occasional Timber Wolf in the night. Trailer parking is onsite.

One story, quaint country home with enclosed sun porch, kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Close to Lake Superior, Superior Hiking Trail, North Shore snowmobile trail and the City of Two Harbors. There is a futon in the living room that can be used as a second bed. Go for a walk on a beautiful country road or sit and enjoy the tranquility of the woods as you sit by your campfire!
