Endless Water Views - Walk to Town & AT!

Left . . . right . . . front & center . . . water, water, everywhere! Settled up high in the bank of Spring Creek sits this top level unit, affectionately called Birds Nest. Water views galore with trout-stocked Spring Creek and an almost 90 degree curve, called Fowler's Bend. Be prepared for INCREDIBLE VIEWS of the RUSHING WATERS of a 20-30 foot wide creek, with distant views of the only WATERFALL in town. Out the front door, ~7,500 acres of Pisgah NATIONAL FOREST sits just across the road.

Farm Stay at Panther Branch with Sauna

Take it easy at our beautiful cabin in Hot Springs, NC surrounded by nature and farm animals. Panther Branch Farm spans 30 acres of mountains, streams, waterfalls, and hiking trails. On our small farm we have chickens, bees, goats, and alpacas that love to be hand-fed. Originally a pole barn workshop, the cabin has been expanded into a peaceful retreat built with local lumber. Unwind in our outdoor spa with sauna and a spring bath or simply relax and take in the serenity of the National Forest.

The cabin is situated on 12 private acres in a remote corner of Madison County, surrounded by national forest, streams, and clear mountain air. The property has a history of artist residents, and we encourage creatives of all types to come seek the inspiration found by those that came before. The town of Marshall, an artistic enclave, is 25-30 minutes away, and downtown Asheville is a 45-50 minute drive. Hiking and rafting nearby.

A three bedroom cabin great for a couple or family. The Appalachian Trail and National Forest can be accessed just 100 feet from the front door! The well-stocked kitchenette provides for all basic food preparation needs, and the town of Hot Springs is only a two minute drive away. Hurricane Helene update: We are fortunate that our property is higher up and did not flood. Thanks to the hard work of many people, all utilities have been restored at the cabin. Our town is in recovery.
