The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

Across from Little Tribune Bay, and a 7 minute walk to Big Tribune Beach, this loft style cabin offers true serenity on Hornby Island. Set at the back of a peaceful ten acre blueberry farm this little 'gem' is quiet and secluded. Suitable for a couple and one child. Electric heat and wood stove. Full kitchen with everything you will need for a holiday! Everything supplied, except sheets and towels. * we currently don’t allow dogs but may consider them at certain times of year- ask us!

Wild Thyme Hideaway

This memorable place is anything but ordinary, come stay in our 1963 Double Decker London Bus! Sleep upstairs in a cozy queen bed or relax in the twin reading nook at the front of the bus. Downstairs you will find a full bathroom complete with a claw foot bath. We have an espresso machine, board games, puzzles and even an outdoor shower! On the deck you will find a BBQ and outdoor fire pit area for relaxing. Located on beautiful Saturna Island in a very private forested 1 acre lot.

Curved boat like getaway adjacent and overlooking Helliwell Park, it's in the grassy oak grove meadowlands with spectacular open southern views, beach below. Featured in handmade builders of the Pacific Northwest. Stone, cedar, stainless steel, driftwood and sod. The house is best as getaway for 2 with occasional guests in separate bedrooms. all amenities plus a fireplace, heated stone floors and outside bathtub. Introducing Moonshot the Landyacht, the Airstream at Wildernest! A perfect getaway just a 20 minute ferry ride from West Vancouver on the forested slopes of Bowen Island. This 1971 Airstream has been totally rebuilt into a super comfortable and memorable escape. It's a great couple's vacation, completely private on its own acre of land. There's a separate indoor heated bathroom and shower, plus an outdoor hot water shower and vintage bathtub built for two.

Mid-island, this rustic cabin is perfect for any couple (or small group) shacking up in the woods. Please note that while there is wi-fi at the cabin, there is no cell reception on the property, and many guests have mentioned that they’ve enjoyed the chance to unplug and connect with nature.

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
