The Nissen Hut - Westfield Farm

New this season, this contemporary and modern Nissen Hut offers luxury accommodation on the stunning coastline of Northumberland. Situated between Seahouses and Bamburgh it is the perfect base to explore this outstanding area of beauty. Alnwick is within 20 minutes distance and Berwick within half an hour. Our Nissen hut was an original old building on our farm and has gone under a complete transformation to the highest standard. Sleeps up to two guests and has all the amenities you will need.

Escape to the Northumberland coast for big skies and magnificent beaches. This comfortable 3 bedroom cottage is situated on a working farm, with St Cuthbert’s, St Oswald’s and the Sandstone way passing through. With Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed nearby there is plenty to keep everyone entertained. After a day of exploring, return to the cottage to relax and unwind in front of the wood burning stove. Secure storage of bikes and kayaks can be available on request.

Escape to the peaceful countryside, surrounded by hills with a view of the sea! Clive’s Cottage is on the end of a terrace of three cottages on a working farm. Ideally located next to St Cuthbert’s Way and directly on the cycle route of the Sandstone’s Way- it is the gateway to some of Northumberland’s most spectacular and iconic scenery. The Cheviot Hills are a 25 minute drive away and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne can be seen from the garden.

Cambridge House - Cottage Number One

[Please note, this property has a shower only, there is no bathtub]. Island stays are exciting enough as it is, but this isn’t any old island. Oh no: it’s mystical, castle-crowned Holy Island, or Lindisfarne, the tiny place from which Celtic Christianity spread like fire across Europe. And you can stay right on it. A ground-floor property accessed via two steps, Cottage Number One is part of a row of stone buildings amid Lindisfarne village.

For colder months my home is cosy with central heating and a wood burning stove; perfect to relax in front of after exploring the island .
