We own and manage the park along with the Cabin and we have an onsite staff for anything needed, just like a hotel. Located 40 minutes northeast of Durango, CO, Blue Spruce RV Park & Cabins is a quiet, full amenity campground in The Vallecito Lake Community. Our park is nestled in The San Juan National Forest and backs up to the mountains. The park is a short drive to Vallecito Lake and surrounded by great hiking trails and outdoor activities. Our amenities include a dining hall for group events, game room with parlor games (pool tables, air hockey, darts), basketball court, horseshoe pit, ping pong table, and a great outdoor pavilion. We offer multiple cabins, park apartments, and pre-setup RV's for rent. We are a perfect launching point for endless outdoor fun with amenities to keep you and your kids busy when back at the park. Vallecito Log Cabin with a View

Enjoy all Vallecito Lake has to offer from this 2 bedroom 1 bath log cabin located at the North End of Vallecito. You can walk down to the Lake or the Country Market while taking in all the fresh mountain air. Outside your cabin enjoy the charcoal BBQ grill and patio furniture. Also included in your stay are use of the heated indoor swimming pool (Pool is Open May 1st – Nov 30th, Dec 20th – Jan 6th Daily Hours: 10am – 8pm) & playground located 4 miles south of the cabin at Pine River Lodge.

Half Street Haven in Lake City

This unique three-story log home is on the edge of Lake City. It offers stunning mountain views. This colorful house can sleep up to 8 people. The house has stairs including a tight, narrow spiral staircase to the basement. It has an open-floor plan upstairs with a king bed & a full bathroom. There are bunks beds in the basement along with only one TV. This home is ideal for people looking to unplug & unwind. It also has a wrap around deck with a BBQ & parking for a truck & trailer onsite.

Modern guest house in Lake City

Modern and newer construction (completed in May 2020) second floor guest house for rent. Two bedrooms and two baths, approximately 1125 square feet. Bedroom 1 has an attached bath with tiled walk in shower. Kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Huge 12' x 36' second story deck with amazing views. For folks bringing pets, note that pets cannot be left unattended in the house. If you leave the house, take your pets with you. Town of Lake City permit # TLCR05.

This cabin located 10 min west of Creede has amazing views of the Weminuche wilderness and is walking distance to world class fly fishing on the Rio Grande river. This cabin gives you easy access to outdoor activities and Creede, including the Reparatory Theater. This is the perfect base camp for your next adventure. Wake up to elk grazing in the meadow, explore during the day, and relax at night in this custom built cabin with unique features from the local area.

Red Fox Retreat : a charming homestead

Welcome to the Red Fox Retreat, a log cabin on 2 acres in a mountain “neighborhood” (with red fox). There are four bedrooms (one detached in a little back cabin) and three bathrooms (one is detached). If you do NOT need to use the detached extra bed and bath, please let me know so my cleaners can schedule their time accordingly. 🐶We love dogs but please select that you’re bringing (up to two) due to a $100 total fee.

Gowdy Suite 1 Open All Year Gowdy Properties

The Gowdy Suite 1 is located on the ground level with private entrance and screened porch. The bedroom consists of a king size bed and 32 inch TV, the kitchen has all standard necessities and then some, the living area has a couch a chair recliner and a 42 inch TV. The bathroom has a shower and blow dryer and extra towels. OHVs are only allowed to travel on Hwy 149 from June 13th until September 30th

Backcountry Basecamp 1

The cabin is located in Lake City directly across from the visitor center, movie theater, and post office. It was built in 2019. The cabin is 420 sq ft and includes a bathroom with large shower, a kitchen, a laundry room, two private decks, private little yard with fire pit, and parking. It is a studio type set up. It is attached but separate to a larger 1900 sq ft cabin that is also for rent.
