Nestled up a hill in the forest, you'll be transported to your own little private resort-like getaway with stunning views, architectural design that brings the outdoors in, and ample space for dining and entertaining poolside. The property consists of two separate studios (both included) connected by a unique outdoor living space with a seasonal pool, spa, outdoor shower, bar & BBQ, and more!

Just a few minutes outside of Ashland, this unique and spacious property will put you in a rural setting with excellent views of the surrounding hills of the Rogue Valley. Located on 5.2 acres, with two security gates that are, remnants of a previous cannabis operation, the property affords ample privacy, and is invisible from the street, providing a perfect getaway for those that seek it. Mountain House property studio apartment

It is located on the property of the historic Mountain House built to house travelers on the Emigrant Trail. A few years later it became a tavern and stage coach stop. A newly remodeled, upstairs studio apartment with beautiful views, a very private space. For several years this was a large room where we held house concerts. In 2019, I converted into a studio apartment with bathroom, kitchenette, bedroom (queen for 2 adults), and sitting/bedroom (bed for child or small adult).

Just five minutes from the downtown Yreka I-5 on-ramp, this is a private getaway just on the edge of town. Decorated with stylish mid-century modern inspired out-of-this-world decor (with some books about extraterrestrials believed to be in Northern California) we can’t promise views of anything other than Mount Shasta and our resident wildlife - numerous deer and wild turkeys and hares make our tranquil property home with the occasional fox to liven things up.
