Sobae Sanso is located just a few minutes walk from the shuttle stop, where you can catch buses taking you to all the major ski resorts in the area.

Kitsune Cottage BLUE is a beautiful self-contained unit, built in the fall of 2016. At just under 100 square meters of functional space, the unit was designed by Hakuba Powder Lodge co-owner Hiroko Kowal. This cottage features a functional modern kitchen in a wide open living room area with a large dining table, sofa and TV. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms with space for up to 6 guests. Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk to many cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter.
