This private, waterfront retreat is secluded and peaceful with plenty of space to spread out—right on the water! At high tide, paddle out to Lords Island or take a trip down the peninsula. The local supermarket and gas station are just minutes away, yet the setting is completely rural. Head out to hike some of Maine's best trails or drive to Acadia National Park, The Bold Coast, Jasper Beach, Schoodic Point, or any of the amazing local rivers and lakes. Perfect for couples, families, or friends.

Flower Farm Loft

When you arrive at the Flower Farm Loft you're greeted by our dogs, who will likely jump on you with muddy paws and request fetch and pets. You're immediately surrounded by flowers in our gardens and flower studio. The loft has big east facing windows that look over our farm and surrounding fields. You'll open the curtains in the morning to incredible sunrises over Kilkenny Cove, and end your nights at your private fire pit with immaculate star filled skies that will make it hard to go inside.

Edgewater Cabins #2

Edgewater is centrally located off of Route 1 (Schoodic Scenic By-way) in Sullivan Harbor. You can enjoy our beach and picnic tables on the wharf while surrounded by amazing views. You will find a tennis court just a short walk up our driveway. Nearby there are restaurants, local hiking trails, and Acadia National Park (20 min to Schoodic Point and 35 min to Acadia on Mount Desert Island). Boat rides around Frenchman's Bay are available from our dock. There's a 3 night minimum stay in Cabin 2.

Located on 5.2 acres with large wrap-around porch, there's plenty of privacy for family get-aways and outdoor dining. Schoodic Loft Cabin "The Roost" with Kayaks

This playful cabin offers a unique spot to unwind and explore the Schoodic peninsula and Downeast Maine. Kayaks are provided to explore island studded 462 acre Jones pond, a 10 minute walk down a trail. A 10 minute drives brings you to the less visited Schoodic section of Acadia NP, where a network of hiking and biking trails lace the coastal forests and dramatic rocky coast. Nearby Winter Harbor has shops and restaurants and even a ferry across the bay to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island.

Historic Cottage -Roque Bluffs Beach, Pond, & Park

Relax with your family at our peaceful home just a few short steps from the beach, pond, and hiking trails of Roque Bluffs State Park. Hummingbird Hollow, aka Schoppee House, is a lovingly updated two bedroom cottage nestled between the ocean and state park land. Enjoy ocean views, salt air, and the sound of waves. A quick walk to the beach or pond, you’re not too far away to run back for lunch or take an afternoon nap. Also, the house is fully heated and is suitable for the cooler months!

If you are looking for a place to get away and relax, our house on Molasses Pond may be a good fit for you/your family. It is a hidden gem down a dirt road away from hustle and bustle. Peace and quiet is what you’ll find, along with a gorgeous view. It’s a great place for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, grilling, fishing, and laying on the hammock. We try to provide you with all the necessities you may need and are happy to answer any questions. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Go for a stroll around the fishing village; buy fresh lobster from the docks; hike beautiful Great Wass nature preserve; or just use the house as a base to explore Bar Harbor, the bold coast, Eastport, Campobello and more.

Spring 2025 ~Visit Acadia Park & Bar Harbor by day & stay here at night. Our 1.4 acre shore-front family retreat began an 18 month renovation Fall of 2018 & only opened recently - Dishwasher, new beds, Hi-speed Internet no data limit. We fell in love with this quiet coastal sanctuary, the perfect place to reconnect with nature while staying on grid. ☪ At night you'll experience deafening silence under the natural light of the stars.
