Historical Haven is a unique cottage that will not disappoint. This renovated circa 1840 Dry Goods store is located on Merchants Row. Take a step back in time as you visit one of the only intact 19th-century mercantile districts in the nation. Enjoy a historical walking tour and do some shopping as you take in the scenery. With riverside views and a large deck it’s an ideal place to stay for a Bourbon Trail excursion, visiting Centre College, enjoying area attractions, or just relax and unwind.

Enjoy staying in a piece of history within this old one room schoolhouse converted to a two bedroom home. Sit out on the swing or by the firepit as you enjoy peaceful sounds of the country and the creek adjacent to the property. Located right on the Bourbon Trail with only a 5 min drive to Maker’s Mark, 17 min to Limestone, and 20 min to Log Still Distillery. Venture in to the city of Springfield to learn about Abe Lincoln and his parents, married in the courthouse, still being used to this day!

While this is a multi unit home, each space has a private entrance and locked interior doors. Whether your stay is short or long, you'll find plenty of amenities to make yourself comfortable. All beds are memory foam mattresses, and all linens are 100% cotton with hypoallergenic fiber filled pillows and comforters. The front porch & deck offer outdoor space to sit a while!
