Enjoy Relaxing Iowa Farm stay

Our farm is about 6 MI south of Hampton on a working farm. There is mile of gravel to get to our farm that is well maintained. We offer a guest house with 2 bedrooms. One has king bed and the other has a queen bed with single bunk above it. We also upon request provide single mattresses for extra guests. Large bathroom with shower and soaking tub. Complete kitchen. Coffee and bottled water provided. Our place has large outdoor area for lawn games and picnics. Great for family gatherings.

This barn refinished into a rustic cabin will give you the feeling that you are in the middle of the woods while having the convenience of being in town. Located just minutes from downtown Clear Lake, the historic Surf Ballroom, and City Beach, this is the perfect get-away spot! A large upper loft makes this a great option for families with kids or a peaceful adult retreat. Pets are family... so we are pet friendly, but do add a $25 dollar pet fee (per pet) for the duration of your stay.

Cabin Cove By the River

Take a step back in time when you enter our little log cabin by the river. Built in 1949, this cabin is a replica of the log cabins built by the gold seekers of Alaska. Though modern in most aspects we have retained the native charm of unfinished wood, rough, hand-hewn logs and naked beams. The inspiration for the cabin was found by my great grandfather who spent time in Alaska working on the Alcan highway.

Swinging Bridge Cottage

Overlooking the historic swinging bridge, on the Iowa River, this newly-remodeled guest house features 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a furnished kitchen that's open to the living area. The large living room windows look onto the landscaped private backyard and the river. I welcome guests to a safe quiet neighborhood. This is a cape cod style home with Bedroom 1 on main level and Bedroom 2 on second floor. Please note, there is no bathroom on the second floor. The kitchen, dining area, full bath and comfortable living room are also on main level. The laundry and additional 3/4 bath are located in basement.
