Ideal for visiting academics, The Bungalow offers parquet-floored privacy and harbour views just 1km from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). Coffee shops, bakeries, bars and restaurants are a walk or short Uber ride away, as are Woolworths Food and Davenport Square shopping centre. Equipped with stove, microwave and full-size fridge. For those who wish to exercise, dumbbells (12,5kg) & a foam bar (10kg) are available on request. Please note that no parking is available inside the property.

This centrally located bachelor flat is perfect for the city explorer or out of town business person. Nestled in a peaceful leafy neighbourhood with the beach 10 minutes away and nightlife just around the corner. The unit has its own entrance and secure parking. Also this unit is on the solar system so no load shedding issues! Please note the unit is on a shared property and their is a dog. Not suitable for parties or noisy get togethers. Guests who disrespect this will be asked to leave.

Tree Fern Cottage

Our home is situated in a peaceful yet central part of Durban, in Glenwood near the university and hospitals, hence a suitable location for medical interns. Grocery stores, coffee shops, art galleries, and parks are also nearby. The free-standing cottage is self-catering with access to the washing machine making it popular with longer stay guests. Most of our guests get around by Uber but if bringing a car, please let us know beforehand to confirm parking availability.

Heffalump House

Heffalump Hut is small, size 17m2, with a compact full kitchen and shower area. HH is close to one of the last remain forests (Pigeon Valley Nature Reserve), that was a home to Elephants. The mosiac was made from used tiles and cereamics in keeping with a sustainable world. HH is private from the main house. HH ispart of an indigenous garden and food for monkeys and locals. It is central, one of the few places with aircon and pet friendly.

Ruby’s Cottage

This very comfortable self catering cottage is for LADIES ONLY. It is in a secure cul de sac with 24 hour security, in a good area, close to schools, shopping centres, UKZN , and a short drive to the beachfront and sports stadiums. It has all the conveniences one needs when away from home. Smart TV, WiFi, aircon, fan. Please note the price is for one lady only. An additional fee will be charged for 2 ladies. No male guests for sleepovers.

The Cottage (Glenwood)

Private and secure free-standing cottage on the property of a family home. Off-street parking is available. Walking distance to Glenwood Bakery and Poke Box. Conveniently located near the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine, King Edward VIII Hospital, and UKZN. For longer stays, the apartment is serviced weekly, with washing and ironing available on request. Popular with visiting medical students from around the world.
