Centrally located in Wainui near the local surf lifesaving club there's a cafe an easy 10 minute stroll along the beach or the local store 5 mins in the opposite direction. Gisborne City is a 5 minute drive. The studio has a queen bed, with a spacious bathroom and a simple kitchenette. The Studio is attached to the house but has it's own entrance with off street parking at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac.

Pōhatu, meaning stone in Maori, is a beautiful 1925 Arts & Crafts house built by one of regions wealthiest landowners. Lovingly restored in 2020, the guest room is self contained and absorbs the morning sun. Pohatu is located beside the Waimata River, on a 3000m2 section surrounded by mature trees and gardens which afford privacy for sitting outside with your favourite beverage. The property is a short walk to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.

Tokomaru Beach

Our place is built behind an historic building, only metres from the beautiful Tokomaru Bay Beach and 100 metres walk to Pakirikiri Marae.The facilities are all modern, with heat pump/air conditioning, acomodating 4 people with style, comfort and ease. One queen bed is in the lounge as a pull down/retractable and the second in a separate bedroom. Shower and toilet is an ensuite shared by all guests but accessed through the bedroom.
