The property is steps away from avalanche mountain preserve where you can hike, mountain bike, disc golf, snow shoe/ice skate or just take in the views of the lake. Boyne mountain resort is a short 10 minute drive. We are centrally located.

Au Sable River Getaway

One mile from the Mason Wilderness Tract, view eagles, deer and other wildlife out the front door, relax beside the peaceful South Branch of the Au Sable, a trout stream (catch and release, please), hunt in fall, enjoy cross-country skiing at several nearby trails including the 12-mile-long Mason Tract Trail, ski rentals, lessons and trails nearby. There are 3 beaches within 3 miles of the home. Nubs Knob and the Boyne resorts are within 30 minutes. The home was recently remodeled and is fully equipped. The home does have well water. The small faucet at the kitchen sink provides pure RO water for drinking and cooking.

Very cute and cozy log home located on a 7 acre wooded lot! Great central location for everything that Northern Michigan has to offer!! 3.5 miles from Interlochen Arts Academy. Traverse City and Crystal Mountain are only 20 miles away and "The Most Beautiful Place in America" Sleeping bear Dunes is only 35 minutes away. Lost lake pathway is just a mile and half down the road which is great for hiking and biking!
