Peace of Nature Rustic Retreat is located in a beautiful wooded property between a lake and a pond and wetland. The retreat features private entrance & covered patio with woods & lake views. A bird watchers dream with a variety of woodpeckers, nuthatch, hummingbirds, Bluejays & cardinals. Enjoy observing the many other critters here too — deer, ermine, otter, trumpeter swan, blue Herron, fox squirrels and more. Old Hauenstein Brewery - Ground Level 1

Stay in a real brewery built in 1891 where they brewed the Hauenstein beer until 1969. Remodeled in the authentic rustic industrial style of the era, rent the lower level unit with 2 romantic rooms, a parlor, coffee bar and bathroom. The private upper garden has a fire pit, cellar and dining area surrounded by forest and fire-flies. There is No Kitchen. The building is surrounded by an underground creek, so it stays cool naturally. It’s a 7 min walk to Schell’s brewery & 4 min drive downtown.
