Experience an unique and unforgettable Japanese traditional home at the city centre of Kawagoe where it is well known for its old clay warehouses and merchant homes, called Kurazukuri.【Kuranoyado Masuya】is the only place you can stay in a traditional clay warehouses that was built about 130 years ago and designated as Landscape Importance Building. Located at the walking distance from the most famous sightseeing spots such as Kuradukuri zone(old storehouse zone), Toki-no-kane, Hikawa Shrine etc.

In the heart of Kawagoe, Saitama, “Chabudai” offers a place for gathering, meeting, and conversation. Chabudai (“low dining table” in Japanese) is a place where a family gathers around to have meals. Our house is located in Sankubocho, which is famous for the historic warehouse district. We renovated a historic Japanese house with over 100 years of history. We hope to connect travelers, neighbors, and passers-by to nice places and shops in town, and share the history and traditions of the city.

This is 94-years-old Japanese house where has “Wabi-Sabi”. All the designs on the wooden doors/windows were built by a temple carpenter. Dialogue with historic house will bring you emotional time. This area wasn't burn in world war-2. So, the way is tortuous with other old houses.
