Two good pubs are within 1.5 miles in either direction and the historic towns of Beaulieu and Lymington are 3 miles and 4.5 miles respectively away. The quaint historic shipyard of Bucklers Hard nearby has a museum, pub and marina. IOW close too.

Captains Retreat Cottage is a private one bedroom ( very comfy 6ft superking) cottage in the heart of Lymington. Free unlimited parking a few minutes walk away.The high street is 5 mins walk , lots of shops, restaurants, cafes and a museum. There is a very popular market on Saturdays. At the bottom of the high street is the stunning Lymington quay on the cobbles, a popular place for a coffee or grab a local boat trip. Nearby there are beautiful walks and a marina. Well behaved dogs welcome.

Our coastguard cottage is located in a quiet location in the centre of Yarmouth. It provides accommodation for 4 adults and 2 children. There is a small walled flower garden to the rear with a garage for one car. Two minutes from Yarmouth Square, the harbour, ferry, many shops and restaurants. There are numerous beaches and walks waiting to be discovered.

Just 2 miles from the coast and less than a mile from the New Forest, The Old School House is a characterful, privately owned, self catering cottage. Offering a retreat for couples, friends and families for both short and long breaks. Alternatively, popular with business when working in the Southampton or Bournemouth areas. Our house is the perfect place to explore the wonderful Isle of Wight. Located in Freshwater in West Wight, it is close to the local shops and in walking distance to the picturesque beaches of Colwell Bay and Totland Bay. For newcomers to the Isle of Wight we will do our best to provide local information and help with travel plans if needed.
