Amenities like supermarkets, banks, cafes and restaurants are all within a short walk. The cottage is 15 minutes drive from Inverness airport and provides a great base to explore the Highlands.

Duffus House Lodge - rural retreat

The Lodge is a traditional gate lodge located at the entrance to Duffus Estate, on the edge of the small village of Duffus. Set in from the Elgin/Duffus B road, it is surrounded by Estate woodland and open fields which are home a host of wildlife, such as our cheeky red squirrels or shy roe deer. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs and you can explore the network of paths across the Estate and beyond. Duffus is only 2 miles from the magnificent Moray coast with its unspoilt sandy beaches.

Separate WC and bathroom with shower. Findhorn boasts some the most picturesque sandy beaches within Scotland. Findhorn offers a variety of activities such as sailing, golfing, fishing and also art/craft classes at the Findhorn Foundation. Well behaved pets allowed by prior arrangement. Sorry no smoking. Set just minutes away from the beach you can enjoy peaceful walks or venture further afield to explore various attractions. The Boat Shed

The Boat Shed nestles under a large ancient Monterey Pine at the bottom of our garden in the beautiful village of Findhorn. Less than two minutes from Findhorn Bay and a ten minute walk to the beach on the Moray Firth. Guests have their own access and sole use of the Boat Shed. Just a short walk to local pubs, restaurants, cafes, shop and Marina. Perfect for a short break or holiday. If you want to book less than three nights, I may be able to accommodate you, please contact me.
