There are only 9 kelp forest ecosystems globally & only ONE along the African continent. OVERVIEW: 1. We start with a warm welcome & introduction. Next we will brief you on the snorkel location for the day and answer questions / provide information as to what to expect at the snorkel site. 2. We provide you with ALL gear, including a high-quality wetsuit to keep you snug & warm. 3. We bring a big yellow buoy for safety & for you to hold on to if a little more reassurance is required. THE SNORKEL ADVENTURE: We will be in the ocean (snorkelling) for about 1 hour. We access each location from shore (not a boat) & choose the location with your utmost enjoyment, and safety in mind. We will explore the incredible kelp forest floating/gliding on the ocean surface. The kelp forest is an incredible sight to see and some of the things we may encounter include kelp forest landscapes, schools of fish, sea stars, seals, penguins, small sharks, octopuses & other curious sea creatures. Our 1½ hour surf lessons can be scheduled at a time convenient to you. Your surf coach will remain with you for the duration of your lesson, providing you with coaching at your own pace. All Surf/SUP lessons include: 1½ hours of surf coaching Rental of surfboard and wetsuit Use of our spacious club facilities (separate men’s and ladies change rooms, lockers and hot showers) What to bring: Please bring your swimming costume, towel, sunscreen and dose of enthusiasm! What to expect during your first surf lesson: Your lesson will be tailored according to your own surfing skill level. Meeting at one of Cape Town's more popular Cyclist's destinations , we will set off riding on high-end road or mountain bikes depending on tailored route for your groups skill/fitness whether you an elite hitter or weekend warrior. This could entail a scenic 20 – 100km loop of the most beautiful undulating roads and trails of the Cape Peninsula. Meandering though the less used roads/tracks we will be on the lookout for wildlife whilst engulfed by indigenous Fynbos and shown hidden vantage points of the peninsula by your Pro. With the Indian and Atlantic ocean breezes briskly blowing on our peloton we will tempo over the mountainous scapes back along the coast cliffs. This ride will ensure you leave enriched with endorphins and everlasting memories. Other things to note Moderate fitness is needed & capable of riding a bike 10 miles is required to enjoy this experience. I cater for elite to novice riders, let me know bike size and fitness level in order to plan route. Have you always wanted to try out scuba diving? With this experience, you'll be able to discover the lesser-known underwater world of Cape Town without needing any prior diving experience. Join me, a local PADI Professional who will show you the kelp forests, seals, penguins, small sharks and fish varieties that Cape Town has to offer. *Meet at the meeting point. (Jubilee square) *Get ready and try on your diving gear and equipment ( booties, wetsuits, fins, mask, hoodies and buoyancy device) * We'll head to the dive site that I will choose on the day based on your experience level and weather conditions. * I'll then do a detailed briefing that covers safety, hand signals and what to expect on your scuba dive. *Once we are ready we'll get kitted up and go blow some bubbles. Other things to note Bring your towel, swimming wear, and sunscreen and be prepared for an awesome experience. A pickup can be arranged. Possible to rent a camera for underwater photos.

Meet Terry Corr, qualified Marine Conservationist and Sea Kayak guide at our Shark Warrior Adventure Centre at Seaforth beach. You will receive a safety briefing before jumping into our comfortable sea kayaks, and head out into the big blue. Rounding the corner, you will be faced by incredible African Penguins at Boulders Beach. Paddling is easy, at your own pace and we reach the remote Windmill beach, where we spend time in the sun swimming. On our return journey, we head out to Ark rock, if conditions allow it to visit playful cape fur seals. We paddle back to our centre to complete our experience. An awesome adventure that is responsible, the best way to meet the Penguins, learn more about sharks, and the wonderful creatures that inhabit the unique kelp forests. A Sound Bath is a deeply immersive, full-body listening experience. Unique private experience. A crystal singing bowl sound bath primarily involves listening to the sounds and vibrations produced by 432 Hz bowls made of high-purity quartz crystal. It's called a "bath" because you are "immersed" in the sounds, letting the vibrations wash over you and making you feel relaxed. The experience is highly subjective and will differ for each person, each time. There is no ‘typical attendee’, everyone is welcome. The only thing required is your presence. The sound bath begins with each person seated in a comfortable position. A brief guided breathing, followed by a few gentle yoga moments to heighten your sensory awareness. You're invited to lie down and get comfortable, using items like pillows, and blankets. I gradually introduce sound into the room. You will develop a new appreciation for the ocean environment and the character of Cape Town's kelp forests. Kelp forests are magical places of serenity and wonder. We start with a crash course on the unique geography of the Cape Peninsula, and the processes that make Cape Town one of the most bio-diverse ecosystems on this planet. We follow up with a quick fish and shark identification lesson, where you'll be introduced to the marine life you may see on the snorkel. Then we get in the water where you help collect data for our marine research program that investigates the diversity and abundance of the local reef and kelp systems. Let's get wet and submerse ourselves in the underwater forests! Other things to note Guests must be comfortable swimming as this is a water-based experience. Come sail False Bay in Cape Town in a very safe steel yacht. As we generally have small groups, you the guests can suggest what you would like to do. We can anchor off a beach whilst you swim and snorkel or do basic sail training. Seal Island is a popular destination where you can see a large seal colony and if you're lucky perhaps a stealthy great white shark. I am a seasoned local skipper who can show you some of the natural wonders including, Seal Island and Cape Point. Feedback from our guests is that this is a true sailing experience, not a booze cruise or sun-downer type experience. We sail in almost any weather. If you want to experience strong wind sailing we can offer that with utmost safety. I am happy to also show you the ropes with some basic sailing tuition. My son Tor and I are accomplished watermen and can also assist with surfing, windsurfing, snorkeling. Please check availability by messaging me before booking.

We'll take you on a snorkeling journey of our beautiful, turquoise tidal pools. They're filled with life and wonderful diversity! To see pics of many of the species of our tidal pools and more info, check out @wildbluevetty on Instagram. Each pool is its own special gem and the locations are stunning. We will meet at Pisces Divers where we'll collect kit, and we'll move on to the tidal pool from there. At the pool we will take in the beauty and kit up. After a snorkelling brief, we will take you out on our tidal pool adventure. While we're in the water we take some happy snaps that we share with you later that evening. We'll take your kit and you're free to savour the experience for the rest of the day! The experience takes around 2.5 hours. Please kindly let us know what your transport needs are. The time of day we go out will be pre-determined by forecast tides and conditions. Other things to note - Damaged or lost kit would kindly need to be replaced by yourself. The tidal pools are always beautiful, weather is changeable however. So important to check in with us about what conditions you'd be okay with! Also, there are no showers at the tidal pools. We'll also ask you to sign an indemnity form. Now let's go have fun!

We will meet in the small touristic town of Simons town at Jubilee square. From there we will go fit all the gear we will need for the snorkeling in the kelp forest. Then we will go to the private beach where we will get ready and listen to a safety briefing. After we will enter the water from the beach that's great for people that gets seasick by boat but also want to explore the ocean. Then we will start our snorkel tour between the kelp forest where u can see all kinds of underwater gems. After snorkeling, we dry off and go for a penguin walk to see the penguins in there natural habitat. Other things to note To book this experience u need to be reasonably fit and able to swim.

Join our marine biologist guide on a Cape fur Seal snorkel expedition where you get up close and personal with the 'dogs of the sea'. We will jump in for a snorkel where you will get an incredible interactive experience with the seals and get some amazing photos. You will get a thorough briefing about the seal behavior, their prey and life history. We will be on the look out for any seals entangled in fishing line or wounded. If we see any signs of this we will take photographs which will be submitted to a local research project looking into seal entanglement rates and sources. When you join this trip you are not only getting a fantastic experience BUT also assisting marine biologist's directly working on marine conservation efforts and research.

Then kit you with best surf equipment. Wind, tide & swell dependent you will get to surf the best local surf breaks on the day for your skill level. Local knowledge plays a huge part. Whether we hit the Atlantic or Indian ocean, there is a plethora of epic breaks & I’ll help uncover something for all persons Other things to note This experience is for all levels of surfing, please read reviews for a good understand of the experience. We would meet at Lifestyle Surf Shop on Muizenberg beachfront 15 minutes before the lesson starts. You will rent your wetsuit and surfboard from here at a discounted rate you will receive through me. We will then go onto the beach where I will go through the steps of how to surf with you on the beach. Once this has been done we will go into the water and I will assist you by pushing you into waves and helping you by correcting what you are doing wrong and giving you tips to improve your surfing. The lesson would be an hour long in total. Once the lesson is over you would be able to shower and use the changing facilities at Lifestyle Surf Shop.

A fun and adventurous water biking ocean activity, departing from our private marina in the harbour. Meandering through the yacht basin towards the beach, then heading up to the Clan Stuart Ship wreck, dating back to 1914, before turning back towards the historical naval base. We often encounter playful Cape fur seals, other marine life and various marine birds along the way. Our premium non-motorized water bikes are eco-friendly and are designed to be used on the ocean.
