The flat is a newly built modern and classy apartment, 10 minutes from canning town station. There are two private balconies, tv, WiFi and private bathroom for guests.   • El alojamiento está bien situado y la habitación y el piso están muy nuevos y cuentan con todo lo necesario. Pero la habitación donde nos hospedamos era la del dueño y no se podían utilizar ni armarios ni cajones para meter nada. Además el dueño pretendía que fueramos nosotros los que nos ocupásemos de la limpieza y de cambiar las sábanas y toallas para el próximo huésped, por supuesto, hasta ahí podíamos llegar. Se cae de su peso que ese detalle demuestra una falta de profesionalidad. Por lo demás, el alojamiento estaba bastante bien, teniendo en cuenta que Londres no se caracteriza por ofrecer alojamientos de buena calidad/precio.

    The apartment is located in the East of London, between Stratford (where there's the biggest mall in Europe) and Canary Wharf. It's a residential area, quiet, with 2 metro lines connected. In 25 minutes you will arrive at the center.
    The room is equipped with wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table. The kitchen has an open space with the living room, two sofas, and a bathroom with shower/tub. Everything is very clean and neat 'cause we like to breathe fresh air and fragrant. Pretty simple apartment, with wooden floors.
    The district is pretty quiet and peaceful, ten minutes ride from Stratford, where you have shopping center: WESTFIELD, with every comfort! Stellar mall! And even ten minutes from Canary Wharf, a nice area, especially on sunny days where it's wonderful to walk along the river, or even better, by bicycle, with a beautiful view to London Bridge and the whole city. 5-minute ride also the new Emirates Airline, where you can surprise your partner with a cable car that will pass just above the O2 Arena, used for top international concerts and the underlying Thames.

  • Appartamento in zona non del tutto centrale ma ben collegato alla metro (letteralmente 7 minuti a piedi, ma è possibile prendere anche il bus). Per raggiungere il centro ci vogliono 25-30 minuti, poi dipende dalle giornate, molte volte la metro era sovraffollata. Cinzia e la sua coinquilina sono state molto discrete e gentili. Se dovessi fare un altro viaggio a Londra ci tornerei

  • Cinzia is a really friendly host and despite checking in really late due to a delay the check in was smooth and without problems. The apartment is located just a few minutes walk from Canning Town and it takes 20min to get to Oxford Street, just 2-3 minutes to Westfield Stratford, etc, amazing location overall. The room was nice and clean, so was the bathroom. She had tea, coffee and a few things for breakfast. I would gladly come again and I highly recommend the room. Thank you for having us! :)

    Beautiful modern penthouse apartment perfectly located a few minutes walk from the Excel exhibition center. The bedroom comes with a private bathroom and the balcony can be accessed directly from bedroom with AMAZING panoramic city and river views. There is paid parking in the neighbouring buildings, Perfect for visiting the ExCel. Nearby is Canary Wharf & the O2 arena. Supermarket on site, train station next to the building with easy access to the city and Stratford Westfield.
    Lovely comfortable double bed in a beautiful high floor apartment. The bedroom is a good size and has stunning views from the balcony which can be accessed directly from your room. The apartment has underfloor heating and all glass is triple glazed to stop any loud noise from the airport nearby. If it gets too warm I have placed a tower fan in the room also. The bathroom is large and comes with a shower and bathtub. Heated towel rails and some toiletries if you need them. The living room has panoramic city views with a wrap around balcony! Absolutely stunning views of the city night and day. There is a lift in the building to access the apartment. There is also a coffee shop next door and numerous restaurants a short walk away, including Thai , Italian , Indian , Lebanese and cafes for breakfast. You can also catch the river taxi which takes you on a scenic route on the river Thames to great tourist spots in London including Tower bridge , Big Ben and the London eye. The Emirates cable car river crossing is just outside that takes you to Greenwich with views of the whole city when you travel on this. Great location overall.
    Cafes , riverside , city , 02 arena (for concerts , shopping , cinema and food) restaurants , bars and supermarket on doorstep. Lots to do here .

    Beautiful, cozy, warm and comfortable lodge room in my back garden, in a private closed square 10 min walking from Royal Victoria station on DLR, 14 min. walking to West entrance of London Excel and 12 min. to Emirates Cable Car where one can cross the Thames towards O2 Arena. From my house you walk towards Royal Victoria Station, cross the station bridge to the other side and you will be in the Royal Docks where Excel is. Only hosting business people over 25+ of age. Car park available.
    This room is in my back garden, entrance from the main door house. Shared bath room and toilet room. You will be able to use the kitchen even not offering breakfast you can store your meals in my fridge. Also you can enjoy my open area in my back garden, where smokers can use as they please. Royal Victoria Docks is 10 minutes walking from my house and is a live place with many restaurants and beautiful view to the river and docks. We have a friendly dog a Pomeranian called Teddy, so if you are allergic or afraid of dogs here is not a good place as he is very affectionate.

  • Eli is a very nice person, friendly and welcoming host. The studio is very clean and comfortable and completely equipped with everything what you may need even for a longer stay. The heating works very well and you can set the desired temperature. There is a small garden seating area where you can enjoy your drink. The location is very convenient, as it is close to the DLR train station (2min.walk), the Excel fair (7min walk), Tesco store (5min walk). We strongly recommend this accommodation for travellers who want to keep their privacy and use common household facilities during a longer stay.

  • I really enjoyed staying at Sara’s. The flat is in an excellent location with all the amenities you can ask for. The flat is clean and spacious with a sleek kitchen and excellent views. The room was large and had an extremely comfortable bed. Large tv to watch you favorite shows and plenty of storage space for your things. The bathroom was a good size and a good shower. Sara was quick to respond to my initial message and continued to see if I was ok and needed anything during my stay. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to London.

Everything was just as the listing said, if not better, and the host's instructions for check-in/departure were really prompt and easy to follow. It is a nice, spacious room, with good heating (during a very cold week in London) and it felt like a home rather than just a place to stay. The bed is very comfortable and there is loads of space for your clothes and bags in the room. The kitchen is also very well equipped with more than just basic utensils and the house is very clean. There is no living room but you don't really need one given the size of the room and you can eat your meals in the kitchen. It's a pretty quiet house even though it's on a bus route with the DLR and City Airport nearby, but if you are sensitive to noise, just bring earplugs. I also appreciated Iryna's fast responses to my questions during the week. Don't be put off by the location. If you are going to London City Airport, Excel or the O2 arena, this is an ideal place to stay. The house is also literally next to the Royal Victoria DLR station so you can be in Canning Town to pick up the Jubilee Line (to Canary Wharf and the West End) in 5mins or stay on the DLR to the City in about 15mins. Really cannot recommend this place and host enough.

  • The location was great for ExCel and check in was efficient, how ever be aware this is a share house with other people, not just the 2 professional women as advertised . There is no en suite it is a share bathroom and no security for personal belongings, i.e you cannot lock the bedroom door. It is close to City Airport so in summer when hot very load as you need to keep the window open . I stayed 2 hours whilst i found more suitable accommodation then left for my 4 day stay so really wasted my money on this one .

Julia was not there at check in but I called her and she sent a friend with the keys Who was kind and arrived in 5 minutes. Julia sent me precise and complete information via (Hidden by Airbnb) and made sure everything was ok. I will stay here next time I'm at Excel. The only thing that I did not like is that you cannot lock your door, and since you are sleeping in a house where the host is not there and there is another room with other guests this is not top. But everything was good and the house was calm and comfortable. I recommend It.

It’s a pity I didn’t have the chance to see her in person, but she is a really kind and warm-hearted person in my mind. The location is also good to go to the Excel Exhibition Center, just cross the bridge about 5-mind walk. The community nearby seems a peaceful and safe area, and it’s also convenient from the house to the closest subway station, about 10 mins walk. Overall it’s quite a pleasant experience staying in Yulia’s house, and if next time I pass by London again, I would definitely love to book Yulia’s house again.:)

  • Peter was very welcoming and so friendly. He saw that this was my first booking through Airbnb and he reached out to ensure that all of my questions were answered. Peter provided info on how to find the apartment and was available to help me when I got lost (totally my error). The best part about Peter's flat is that you do not have to walk through or share any of his private living space, so it's not a worry that you may disturb him as you come and go. The entrance into the flat is basically a foyer with a private door to your room and en suite. The room was beautiful, clean, and as pictured. I was able to sleep off some of my jet lag very peacefully here. The location is easy access to the underground and within a close distance to just about everything you could want to see/do in London. I would definitely stay here again if I were in London.

    My flat is situated in the heart of the Royal Docks, the last to close from the complex of Docks from the Thames River. It is an historical part of the support to the trade for the British empire with ships coming from all over the world. It's such a great part of British history here. Today, this has of course ceased but the place had been reinventing itself into a very well put urban development where the main pool of attraction is The Excel Centre, the only cable car of London and the proximity of the airport makes it very desirable. The area is mainly animated during day time but is rather quite at night. There is few bars restaurant and breakfast places ( British, libanese, Thai, Italian ect ) a stone away from my flat. A grocery shop is open every single day from 7am until 11 pm just next door. Very convenient! Royal Victoria Dock station is just by my building. 30 second walk! This place is wonderfully linked: - The ExCel Exhibition Center ( 2 min walk) - London City Airport ( 15 min on the DLR ) - Canary Wharf ( 10min on the Tube ) - Oxford Circus / Bond Street ( 25 min on the Tube ) Activities: The cable car that goes straight to the O2 is right downstairs, by the flat Water sport activities are plenty on the dock itself

  • This is very conveniently located if you are visiting the ExCel and is about 1/3rd the price of a hotel. But note that you are just renting a room, nothing special - essentially a bed, storage and Wifi. It is a large room, 5th floor and is quiet, so if all you want to do is sleep before or after going to Excel then it is perfect. There is no access to shared areas - i.e. a kitchen for coffee (you can buy a Costa from Tesco next door) and if you are a business person then make sure you iron your clothes before arriving as there is also no access to an iron.

  • I couldn't have asked for a better host or location! The booking was very last minute and Eli was still very accommodating. The location is quite a ways from the airport but very close to central London and all the shopping. It is literally across the street from the train that is a 2 minute ride from the tube. It couldn't imagine anyplace more convenient. The room slept two comfortably and had plenty of storage. The bathroom was very clean. My brother and I really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't stay anyplace else of we were in London!

  • Eli is a credit to Airbnb. Not only is her house kept in an immaculate condition, but she is a lovely host as well. She makes every effort to ensure that her guests are comfortable while respecting their privacy in equal measure. The house itself is a cosy place to retire to of an evening and is situated in a nice neighbourhood close to the DLR line. One of the perks is the selection of jams and toast Eli provides for breakfast. We were even provided with a special Easter breakfast - which proved a very pleasant surprise!

A few steps from the Excel and especially a few meters from the Royal Victoria tube station that allows you to get anywhere in this magnificent city. Levente and Szilvia were very hospitable, available giving me all the necessary support, making me feel at home. I think it's the ideal place for people like me who travel for work. The wifi is fast and stable. The view outside is really beautiful given the excellent location and the floor of the apartment. I would definitely recommend this place.

    Welcome to my page! My place is conveniently located in London to all major train stations and city attractions. It is a perfect, clean, minimalist, clutter-free flat has everything you need for leisure or business trip to London. In 20 mins you get to: Tower Hill,Canary Wharf, London Bridge,Bank,Waterloo. 2 mins walk away - ExCel centre. There are Italian, Pan European, Lebanese, Thai, Chinese restaurants minutes walk away. Tesco store is downstairs, also Nisa is a minute away.
    The flat is clean, bright, neat, clutter free - that keeps my mind well organised. I really love retro Skandi style.
  • Maria's flat was a great home base for attending a conference at Excel and for exploring London. I purchased a travel card, which allowed me to travel from the flat to the Excel center very quickly and easily, and I could also pop into central London to explore. Her flat is very clean and comfortable, and it was great to have the Tesco around the corner to buy groceries at. I would not hesitate to book it again.

    Private room in private development. Short walk to Excel Exhibition Center, Emirates Cable Car. Train to Canary Wharf and Central London.
    Small double room in a nice private Britannia Village development. Flat is located on the second floor (no lift). It is a 2 bedroom place with a living room, kitchen and bathroom. In your room you have a queen bed, wardrobe and a desk if you need to work.
    It is a peaceful neighborhood near the river Thames in east London. You're a couple of minutes from the Emirates Air Line, which is a cable car over the river.It will take you to the O2 in 15 minutes. Trinity Buoy Wharf is a dining and arts facility on the peninsula. You can get there in less than 20 minutes on the DLR. Within 10 min walk is London Royal Docks Open Water Swimming. It's not free, but at least you can take a dip in the water on a hot summer day. You'll also find a few wonderful cocktail lounges, coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

  • I enjoyed my stay here a lot. The location is great if you happen to be in town because of an event at ExCeL, and there's a light rail station close by for easy access to the tube system. Semi is a great host, friendly and welcoming while still giving you space if you need it. The apartment is very clean, cosy, and well appointed. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

(Website hidden by Airbnb) was on business in London and found this location to be an inexpensive alternative to hotels. Consider the cost of staying with Eli vs a cost of a hotel room in London. Even with paying an extra 6 GBP on transportation and you save 40-80 GBP per day. A good deal and will stay again if I need a room for business or pleasure.

    An Ideal short term accommodation superbly located to the Excel Exhibition Center.
    The property comprises two generous double bedrooms, an ultra-modern open-plan kitchen reception room and two luxurious bathrooms. The TERRACE is by far the best FEATURE. It runs the entire length of the apartment and is accessible by all the principle rooms. The views it affords are absolutely STUNNING! In terms of transport the (DLR) at Royal Victoria station is located just behind the complex. The service runs from 5am to 12am Mon- Sun. Direct access via DLR to popular East London areas (Tower Bridge, Tower of London & Shoreditch) as well as Central London (Westminster, Bank Street & Buckingham Palace). Also easy access to Stratford Westfield’s Shopping Ctr. And Olympic Park. The apartment also lends itself to a wide assortment of dockside bars, bistros and local amenities. My favourite being the Emirates Cable Car. It soars hundreds of feet across the Thames to the 02 Arena where you'll find a wider selection of restaurants and family entertainment.

  • Tim&Michelle son fantasticos. El lunes llegamos muy tarde y fueron muy amables preparandonos la cena (no tenian porque hacerlo, no estaba incluido en el trato). Solo puedo dar las gracias, por su hospitalidad, amabilidad y hacer que nuestra estancia fuera agradable: Claramente si tengo que volver a Londres intentare quedarme con ellos. La relacion calidad/precio inmejorable.

  • J'ai été très bien reçu chez Tim et Michelle. La chambre est parfaitement conforme à la description. La maison est située à 2 minutes de la ligne DLR et à 5 minutes de l'Excel center. Idéal pour un salon professionnel, ce qui était mon cas. Merci pour cet excellent séjour.

  • Tim & Michelle were very nice to me. They welcome me with a real sense of hospitality. The bedroom was exactly like in the picture: cosy, comfortable and clean (with a private bathroom). They offered me a really nice breakfast every day I spent at their home. We also discussed a bit and it was really nice to better know them! They really like to meet people and enjoy life, they are lovely! The house is really closed to the DLR station (3 min walking) and also from the Excel London (10 minutes). I hope to come back soon!

  • Tim and Michelle's place is extremely convenient for the ExCeL centre and equally handy for public transport (DLR). The room is comfortable, quiet and private and has an excellent power shower. I particularly appreciated the warm welcome from Tim with practical orientation tips, and felt at ease throughout my stay. Attending a conference can be tiring and impersonal so it was lovely to stay somewhere so homely and friendly. I hope to return when attending future conferences at the ExCeL.

  • I was attending an event at Excel London and the location of the house was perfect, walking distance, it just took me 10 minutes! Tim & Michelle were such a great hosts, easy comunication available for any questions. They make me fell at home. Room is quite good with private wc and everthing you need for a short term stay. For sure I will stay with Tim & Michelle if I return to Excel London.

  • Bien que n'ayant pas donné de nouvelles à mes différents appels avant 15h sur le rendez-vous afin de récupérer les clés de l'appartement, Waqqas reste une personne sympathique. Le vrai problème concerne la prestation. Le logement en question s'est avéré être sa propre chambre, qui n'avait été ni nettoyée ni vidée de ses affaires. De plus, Waqqas ne possédant pas de double du badge pour la porte d'enrée, j'ai été obligé de sonné chez les voisins expliquant mon problème afin de pouvoir accéder à l'appartement. Il est très surprenant d'arriver dans un tel environnement pour une location de ce type. Je ne recommande pas...

    Superb flat in nice and trendy area. Wifi provided. 3 mins to Custom House DLR which is part of London Underground. 1 mins from the London Excel. 1 min to amenities, supermarket, restaurant, bars. Quality Finishing. Very Clean.
    We do not allow parties of any form. Please so not ask us if you can have any type of party or event. This is purely for residential purposes only. This is a warehouse beautifully converted to apartments that is a stone's throw from Excel. The space is a clean and modern flat that is ideally hidden in a docks This luxury apartment is done up to the highest standards and has all the modern conveniences including fully equipped kitchen, wattle kettle, microwave, TV, Iron, hairdryer, and all cooking utensils.
    The neighbourhood boasts several 3-4 star hotels in the area (Crown Plaza, Ibis) and is perfectly located beside the dock where you will benefit from the stunning dock that is bustling with live and character when the weather is good. It also have Tesco and Nisa supermarkets right in front of the development. There is also Japanese, Chinese, Caribbean, Mediterranean restaurant and also the Docklands bar and grill in Crown Plaza hotel if you are ever in need of food. This is a very quiet and safe neighbourhood. London City Airport is close by, so expect to get occasional noise from the Aeroplanes. But this is not much of a problem as the Airport is not a very busy one and flights are only in the day time. There are loads of restaurants and Hotels next to the Excel Exhibition centre where you can unwind whenever you are in the neighbourhood or you can hop on the Cable Car just across the river to the O2 state-of-the-art Event Centre.

  • Nice place, very clean, and check-in was very easy. The location is perfect if you are going to a conference at ExCeL. If you are going for vacation I would stay closer to central London. The access to public transportation is pretty good though. There are a few restaurants and bars right by the flat, but they aren't particularly good. OK if you just need a quick bite to eat, nothing special.

  • The exterior of the place looked a bit sketchy but there was a code that was needed in order to enter the building so it was nice knowing that people that weren't staying there couldn't just come in and out. The place was clean, and simple. Don't expect hotel level cleanliness but it was a comfortable place to sleep and get ready in. The bathroom was very spacious with a big mirror too which was nice for my group to get ready for our NYE celebrations. There was also a full sized refrigerator in the kitchen to store your own food if you wished to cook there. The wifi password was given to us but it ultimately didn't work which was a let down but not a huge deal since we did not stay in the flat for too long. We never had to make contact with the host himself to check in or check out because we had clear directions on how to get to access our flat which was appreciated and allowed for more freedom on our end.
