Our quaint town, 8 miles north of Mt. Washington, is a prime location for everything outdoors: year round HIKING, (1.7 miles to AT) & BIKING trails, 100s of groomed ATV/snowmobile trails, swim, fish, canoe, kayak and tube the pristine rivers, waterfalls & emerald pools and SKI THE SKI RESORTS within 10-30 miles. The small town of Gorham caters to tourists: a dozen great restaurants, antique & gift shops, railroad museum, opera house & town common all within easy walking distance of the studio.

Peaceful Cabin in the Heart of North Country

Our beautiful cabin sits in Clarksville on 6 private acres, close to major ATV and snowmobile trails, as well as the Hurlburt Nature Conservancy Area. We are minutes from Lake Francis and the Connecticut Lakes in NH's northernmost town, Pittsburg. While by no means primitive, our cabin is simple and rustic, and...in the woods. You may be visited by rabbits and coyote, or even a moose or deer grazing early in the morning. You may have the occasional cobweb, fly, swollen door, or sticky evening.

Charming cabin on Little Akers Pond. Room for the whole family or group of friends. Peaceful retreat close to hiking, snowmobile, and ATV trails, and a short drive to Sunday River and Mount Washington. Quiet community on a dirt road between Little Akers and Akers Ponds. Little Akers is no motorized vessels allowed, with swimming, kayaking, canoeing, SUPs, etc. Room for several vehicles. Open concept living area. Located on a short dead end road you will immediately absorb the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful lake front scenery with just under 100' of frontage. This cabin has both ATV and snowmobile access without the need to trailer from the property. The boat launch is conveniently located 1/8 of a mile away and the local beach is a short paddle across the lake using the provided canoe and kayaks.

My place is close to the great outdoors! Hiking, biking, horseback riding, swimming and all water sports. We are an easy drive to three wonderful ski areas.. You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the location, the views and all the outdoor activities in the western mountains of Maine.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). In season you can enjoy fresh vegetables from our gardens.

Beautiful camp style home located 1 mile from ATV trail head. ATV's must be trailered to trail head. This warm and cozy camp has 1 master bedroom with on suite full bath attached upstairs along with loft that has 1 full and 2 twin and will sleep 6 adults comfortably, second full bath located on main floor. Kitchen comes fully equipped. Camp has WI-FI and Roku with Netflix and Hulu for those who prefer to stay back and relax and enjoy Mother Nature at her finest.

Hiking, ATVing, sight seeing, skiing, fishing, kayaking, all right here! This cozy suite is within walking distance to the town center which has a beautiful park and good eating and drinking. There is plenty of parking and ATV's are welcome. Sleeps 4 with a full sized bed and sleeper sofa!

Camp Ursus rustic and peaceful

One room cabin with all the necessities. At initial entrance, you are in the screened in porch. This offers your firewood close to carry, many cozy chairs to lounge, and a get away from the summer bugs. Camp door is locked with a coded lock. Upon entry of camp you will be met with a welcoming home like feel. The only thing you will need are drinking water and sleeping bags. Bunks are fitted with clean linens. Come! Come enjoy camp living!
