The village has a good variety of shops and 3 pubs all within walking distance that all serve good food. The area is perfect for walking, cycling and horse riding and is 4 miles from Avon Beach and mudeford quay.

The Annex is bright, comfortable and cosy with a wood burner for winter. The public footpath crossing our garden next to the river Char links with many others - great for dog walkers. We are close to Charmouth beach and Lyme Regis – renowned for their fossil treasures. Love swimming? our freshwater pool is generally heated to a very cosy 29 - 30 degrees (warm bath temperature) and can be used from April to October With advance notice, the twin beds can be connected to form a king size bed

The Stables is a pretty detached bungalow situated in the historic village of Appledore, surrounded by vineyards and farmland, which hosts a village pub, general store/post office, tearoom, church, hair salon, park, and antique shop. Close to the market towns of Tenterden and Rye. The coast is a 15 minute drive, ideal for country walks. Many public footpaths and the Saxon Way. Popular with cyclists and wine lovers.
