With its double height vaulted ceiling and full height double aspect windows the open plan kitchen living diner offers a light and airy space to unwind and enjoy the view of surrounding fields. The bedroom has a Kingsize bed, Egyptian cotton sheets and En-Suite shower room. The Bathroom offers complimentary Bramley products and cotton bathrobes. Both areas are underfloor heated. There is a private garden.

The Sanctuary, Pet friendly

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Beautiful village residence but only 4 miles from stunning historic York with easy public transport access. Bring your pet too, they have indoor and outdoor space and wonderful country walks in the local area. Enjoy our sunroom, a cosy space to eat in Summer or Autumn. Two renovated old buildings have been converted into a quiet, one bedroom, self contained Garden room. In the centre of Slingsby village, you are well placed to explore the beautiful surrounding areas of Yorkshire. A modern kitchen with fridge, microwave and cooker is equipped for preparing delicious meals. A wall mounted television with Netflix is available. The sleeping area hosts a double bed with wall hanging for clothes, adjacent to which is a bright shower room with heated towel rail.

The Pigsty was part of Haxby Road Farm buildings which were renovated in 2022 / 2023 to create a rustic holiday cottage. The cottage is; 2 .5 miles to York city center, close to bridle paths and footpaths (200m). There is a bus stop approx 400m from the cottage which goes directly to York. Walking distance to pubs, restaurants and shops. 5 minutes drive to 2 cinemas, leisure parks and retail units. This is the perfect location to explore York, the local area or enjoy a night out.

Stunning rural shepherds hut

Located in the stunning Howardian Hills, this is a peaceful and romantic location. A perfect all year round escape. You park your car and the hut is a 5 minute walk from our house- make sure you pack suitable footwear. We can transport your luggage to the hut. The hut has cooking facilities (oven and a hob), there is also a fire pit for barbecues and a picnic table for outdoor dining. You have exclusive use of a hot tub which is right next to the hut.

This idyllic and cosy hideaway for two in the centre of the peaceful village of Holtby, offers spacious and comfortable accommodation, yet is only five miles from the city of York. The Apple Barn overlooks a secluded terrace, a gravelled courtyard area and a large garden, all of which are shared with the owners and there is off road parking available for one vehicle.
