The cottage is located on our 80 acre farmstead in the bucolic rolling hills of Western Wisconsin just over an hour from the Twin Cities. Relax, create, or dream in this peaceful setting. Cherish time with loved ones. Hike along the creek, woodlands and fields. Enjoy the plentiful birds and wildlife. Bring your bike in the summer, and snow shoes in the winter. 4 small towns are all within 15 min. of this location with plenty of places to eat if you do not want to do your own cooking, as well as things to see and do. There is plenty of room for activities in the yard, so feel free to bring yard games. You may also see any of the abundant wildlife that is in the area such as deer, squirrels, turkeys, pheasants, rabbits and more. You will find we have streamed t.v., Roku, Wi-Fi, and even a local land line phone for local calls only. (If needed.)

Longview Haven is an authentic log cabin located on 8 acres connected to the Tiffany Wildlife Area. The Tiffany Wildlife Area is public fishing and hunting land located in Buffalo and Pepin counties, with approximately 13,000 acres for public use. The cabin is located a short distance (~0.25 miles) from Dead Lake. The property is located 7 miles from Durand, WI, and 14 miles from Pepin, WI. Durand is based along the Chippewa River and provides all the necessities for your stay.

Milkhouse Cottage was rebuilt from the original Milkhouse built on our farm in 1906. Nestled in a peaceful valley across the road from the Rush River. Amenities include one queen bed, 1 queen sized comfortable queen sofa bed, air conditioning, private deck, private fire pit & 38 acres of private hiking trails and snowshowing trails.
