Well equipped kitchen with Aga, comfortable sitting room and dining room, 2 king sized bedrooms, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin, 3 ensuites and 1 family bathroom. Outside is a terrace, garden and fire pit. The local town of Chapel -en-le-Frith and the surrounding villages of Hayfield and Chinley plus supermarkets are a short drive.

The cottage is located in central Buxton, 10 mins walk from the cultural centre around The Opera House and Crescent Spa Hotel. It is convenient for Bus and Rail connections. There is a single VW Golf sized parking place (larger if you're careful) at the rear with metered EV charge point. We have designed the rebuilding to include a room-in-the-roof bedroom, whole house ventilation with heat recovery, underfloor heating throughout, powered by Mitsubishi Ecodan Air Source Heat Pump.

Set in an outstanding location with dramatic countryside views & overlooking Mam Tour, the cottage is a cosy ebode complete with log burner. Whether you are coming to see a show in the famous Buxton Opera House or to simply enjoy the countryside & fresh air then Hope Cottage is in a great location for it all, located half way between Buxton & The Hope Valley

Relax in total comfort, in our converted 1950s railway goods van. Once common place on farms around the Peak District this little gem is far removed from the animal shelter it once was! Outside is a large drive with CCTV and private seating area. Parking for 2 cars. Bicycle storage. Please read house rules before booking. We live at the rear in the adjoining church hall.
