If you are not excited to experience using an outside john and shower, keeping the wood stove stoked or living among the creatures of the forest, this may not be your style of adventure ;) Check in is 5pm, but open to flexible scheduling if possible. Restaurants and shopping are conveniently located about 1/4 mile away, making it an easy walk to explore. Though a completely private residence, the house does share a lot with my personal cabin. The Bungalow has a peek of the river, as it is considered the "guest house" to the larger "main house" it shares the lot with. Enjoy low bank river access to launch your kayak. Park the car and experience the best Bend has to offer.

This "one bedroom plus the loft as the 2nd bedroom country cottage is so cozy and functional, and nestled in the foothills of the Cascades. You will love getting away to this wooded cottage with all of the amenities of home. Take a stroll through the woods or visit the onsite pond with Paddle boat, barbeque grill and gazebo with picnic table. Also come meet our horse - Sugarbear, and our sweet Donkey (Shewee). You will be able to enjoy privacy as the cottage is nestled in the woods.

Wake up to the river view from the king size bed upstairs or downstairs sunroom. Repeat. Just under an hour from Portland, 35 mins to Timberline, 10 mins to Mt Hood National Forest.

This is a family cabin and we do not allow parties!

Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.
