The Villa is a true escape we know you will enjoy for its foremost location on the river directly adjacent to the Redwood National Park and the Jedediah Smith State Park. It is situated on a spectacular spot that exemplifies the Pacific Northwest and its pristine rivers. Our home away from home offers comfort and relaxation while exploring with friends and family our Wild Rivers Coast. The Villa has a prime location with a 180° view of the Smith River, the cleanest river in United States.

Sunset Sanctuary

The day ends differently here. The sun drops toward the Pacific, the light goes copper, then pink, then impossible shades you'll never forget. Sunset Sanctuary sits on a bluff above Preston Island. Gray whales pass during migration—you might catch spouts from the living room. Inside: wood stove, piano, vinyl records, books, games. Beach access one block away. Jedediah Smith redwoods 30 minutes north. Three bedrooms, two sofa beds, one air mattress, two baths, sleeps 12. Pets are welcome.

Located on the beautiful Smith River*. Fully furnished. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Spacious living room with large windows providing beautiful views of the the river. Refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, blender, toaster, ironing board/iron, washer and dryer. Wifi, Roku with streaming channels (bring your login info for Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, etc). * river is not accessible from the home however there is access about 1 mile down the road. Please do not try to access river from our property.

Peaceful location yet min. from Hiouchi café, store and Giant Redwoods of Jedediah Smith State Park. 15 min. to Crescent City and miles of ocean beaches. Outdoor grill and fire pit. Wonderful for couples, families and groups, you won't find a better location on the river to relax and enjoy nature.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. You will find all you need to relax and spend some quality time with your family. Within walking distance from Walmart Supercenter (0.2 Miles / 4 Minutes) and Sutter Coast Hospital (0.7 Miles / 14 Minutes) makes it very convenient. Please note: there is construction going on in the neighborhood Monday - Friday 7am to 4pm. Ping Pong table and bikes available upon request.
