Enjoy the view from the private pier, screened in porch, or build a small fire in the outdoor fire pit. The closest public boat ramp is less than 10 mins away at Johnston’s Eddy and there is plenty of parking for your boat at the house. Just a short 5 min drive to Duck Levee Road at the Black River Wildlife Management area.

We are conveniently located 4 miles from the Evening Shade Square, 4.5 miles from the Cherry Farm Event Barn in Poughkeepsie, 14 miles from Cave City, 17 miles from Ash Flat, and 28 miles from Hardy. The small cabin has everything you need for a weekend alone, a romantic getaway, or a relaxing time with friends. Sip your morning coffee overlooking the river. Create a rustic outdoor dining experience by cooking with the electric grill under the covered outdoor kitchen. Immerse yourself in the hot tub as eagles fly overhead, or stargaze at night.

The Shanty w/ Private Beach + Wi-Fi + Secluded

The Shanty is located on private sandy beach on the Eleven Point River- great for fishing, swimming, boating, & floating! This cabin is very secluded and in the country, please expect animals, bugs, insects, etc. There is an outdoor fire-pit with seating & rope swing *Charcoal grill (will have to provide own charcoal) *Firewood $10/bundle, please request and pay 24 hours before arrival. **Pets are welcome with $50 pet fee. **Outfitters nearby **Cars ok but small suv/truck recommended

Secluded Cabin on BlackRiver/ Hot tub- NO PETS!

This is our family cabin. Our family farms soybeans, rice, and corn. We are too busy working during spring, summer, and some of fall to enjoy our cabin much. We are wanting to share our beautiful place for others to enjoy. It is located approximately 10 minutes from Poplar Bluff, MO. We live about 30 minutes away, so we can be available if needed. We have satellite TV and wi-fi. Cabin is pretty secluded nestled among the trees with the Black River flowing within 100 feet of the deck.

A charming, cottage for Bible Studies, Small Retreats or families that enjoy a river sitting. Enjoy the private boat ramp, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, running or cycling. Or, relax with a book on the porch while enjoying the sound of the water and nature. The cottage was built in 2015 and has a Walmart & grocery store in Pocahontas Arkansas 30 minutes away. New in 2025 a bonus room for Bible Study, Sunday School Retreats or just more room for games and more family fun.
