When you climb the external stone staircase and open the front door you will find a perfectly formed cosy cottage conveniently laid out on one floor. It’s full of history and character, with beamed lounge and wooden floors. It is the perfect place to relax with family and friends after a busy day exploring the Lake District. Situated in Kendal town centre (there's a two minute walk down the hill into town) the Mount is surrounded by local greens and parkland and to the west of the building boasts a beautiful golf course, fell and woodland for keen walkers. Within 100 meters there is a welcoming traditional drinking pub.

We offer guests a contact free stay in our detached studio suite in the Lake District.To refresh the studio and to complete intensive cleaning we block off a day either side of every booking. The studio has a king-sized bed, dining table & chairs, a very comfortable sofa, TV, lobby, wet room, small kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, tableware, cutlery. Patio doors open on to a private sun terrace overlooking the garden and surrounding fields. Parking next to the studio.
