Enjoy the majestic Thousand Islands on the St Lawerence River. Our home, named “Twin Peaks” was built in 1890, relocated to Grenell Island in 1920 and has been lovingly restored for today’s conveniences. Knowledge of the river and life on an island is crucial to your stay. Navigating the seaway & island life is not for the faint of heart! Having your own boat is necessary for getting anywhere! Our cottage faces the main channel for excellent ship watching and has water views from every room!

Welcome to Minnow Cottage, the perfect place to enjoy the lake and nature, spend quality time with loved ones, and relax and recharge! Imagine peaceful mornings on the deck with coffee serenaded by the lake's loons. Swim in one of the clearest lakes in Ontario. Explore the lake on our kayaks, paddleboards and canoe. Bring your fishing gear for some excellent fishing. Savour cozy evenings around the firepit, creating lasting memories under starlit skies. Your lakeside getaway awaits!

The Boathouse

The views are surreal! With over a 200 degree view, sitting on the couch seems like sitting over the top of the water. Located on a small protected bay, also home to two yacht clubs, you'll see boaters of all kinds. The fishing is fabulous right from the dock. Located on a quiet private road, you'll be walking distance a from restaurants, an ice cream shop, shopping, banking, the local library, and even a small winery! There is deep water dockage if you plan to bring a boat.

Peaceful Getaway

Kick back and relax in this peaceful space. Guest house has two twin beds, private bathroom, microwave, toaster, Keurig, small refrigerator. WiFi access, outdoor grill with outdoor dining and seating area all under a 16x24 pavilion. This property offers incredible views, fish jumping and canoe and kayak access. End your incredible day fishing off the dock with s’mores at the fire pit. Hunters and fishermen welcome. Plenty of parking so bring your motorized toys! See you soon!

Grindstone Island Cottage in Private Bay

Come relax in Buck Bay. Our family cottage is situated right on the water in a private, peaceful bay with beautiful views. We are accessible only by private boat or water taxi, about 4 miles from Clayton, NY & Gananoque, Ontario. The house is perfect for 4 adults and 2-4 children or young adults. Recently updated furniture & linens, washer, dryer and more! The boathouse has about 4-8 feet of water depth and room for 2 boats. There is a swim float 30’ from shore. @buckbay.stay

1000 Islands Home Steps from River and ABM

Location is ideal for Weddings and Docking in French Bay - Across the street from French Bay Marina with sunset views. Walk 100 yds to the Antique Boat Museum or grab a pizza and beer at the Wood Boat Brewery. Having a wedding in Clayton this summer - this home would serve as the perfect spot for family and guests. Great for launching at Mary Street Boat ramp and they have docking spaces there to rent. We having parking for up to 2 boats and trailers behind our house.

Tiny Hideaway - Cozy Waterfront Escape

The tiny hideaway is an adorable tiny camp (might have to duck if you are over 5feet 11 in doorway and bathroom) on Chaumont bay. Year round camp. It’s great for a small family or a get away for a couple. Great private water front to enjoy with a dock. Bring drinking water as it’s on a shore well and is not drinkable. ICE FISHERMAN: I do not suggest accessing the ice in-front of the camp. Most guest access at long pt 1.5 down the road.

Private Island on the St. Lawrence River

Stunning 360 degree views of the majestic St. Lawrence River. This tiny, basic cottage is accessible only by boat and offers an 80’ concrete dock. Incredible sunrises and sunsets. No wifi but excellent cell service. Cottage is basic but views are fantastic. Scorpion Island is a unique experience in the heart of the 1000 Islands just east of Gananoque.
