We decided to open Farm Lodge that will be welcoming guests all year around and close to the city, only 10min downtown Portland, 15min Airport. No smoking in the unit. There is a smoking hut on the property you are free to use should you choose to (bring a container with you to dispose the remnants). SE Portland is a 30 min drive and downtown Portland a 45 min drive. One hour to Mt. Hood, & falls in the Gorge. Pool open 6/15 through 9/5.

The Woodlands Hideout is a small intentional semi-offgrid retreat space, featured on Dwell. It was designed and built by Further Society and created to allow guests to immerse in the beauty of the natural world, but still offer some cozy and more essential comforts. Although the footprint of the space is small, we designed the experience to be outward focussed, so it feels very expansive with the towering pine trees in view.

The space has a private keypad entrance & 16 stairs (sorry, no elevator) to the guest studio attached to our home. Our friendly golden retriever Ollie will gladly greet you. Groceries & highway access are a mere 3 miles away. Portland is a short easy drive from our quiet country home.
