Come relax in the serenity of the quiet countryside. This home boasts beautiful views, a large stone fireplace, and stained glass windows throughout the home. Enjoy the comforts of home with a full kitchen, amenities, and beds with 1500 thread count sheets while exploring the interesting features of this one of a kind house. Sit by the spring fed pond overlooking the property laced with apple trees. The home has direct access to short walking trails and is close to VAST trails for snowmobiling.

Welcome to Capt. Tom's Cabin. Nestled in the hills of Vermont with a beautiful view of the Green Mts., this 2-storey, 2 bedroom log house on 44 acres offers seclusion, serenity and privacy. Two large bathrooms, full kitchen, central heat, gas fireplace, pond and deck. Great for winter sports enthusiasts and nature lovers. Good wifi, dog-friendly with a fee. Red Acre Cottage is nestled on a scenic ridge in the idyllic town of Rochester, just east of the Green Mountains and right off of Vermont Scenic Byway Route 100, one of the state's prettiest roads. Red Acre Cottage is an easy drive to Killington/Pico, Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, Rikert Nordic Center/Blueberry Hill XC skiing, Suicide Six, and Stowe Mountain.

Granville NY has a large grocery store and other shops and is only a 15 min. drive.

Winter: sledding, x-country, downhill Property includes strong, high-speed Wi-Fi.** Please note: for the 2025-2026 winter there is no working fireplace. **This is a new change from the slow internet that has existed previously.

This historic property has been in existence since 1832 and has been lovingly maintained with a backdrop of the Adirondacks beyond the picturesque pasture. This one bedroom apartment is located downstairs in the two story duplex.

Situated on over 2 acres of private back yard, overlooking beautiful Sugar Hollow Brook in the heart of Pittsford, Vermont. Walking distance to village general store, library and the Pittsford trail system.
