Whether you’re walking the South West Coast Path, visiting Lyme Regis (10 minutes by car), having a beach holiday, or simply unwinding by the sea, this cottage makes the ideal seaside escape.

The reading room....the perfect getaway for 2

The Reading Room is a separate annex of The Old Chapel in the main High Street in Charmouth. It's within 60 steps to the High St. Charmouth Beach is approx 5 minutes stroll. A unique space with a huge vaulted ceiling spacious kitchen, dining/ living area, modern integrated appliances and a beautiful oak floor. It has parking for one vehicle and a small outdoor space to the side of the Chapel with blue table and chairs for 2 people. Be aware steps to the bed platform are steep.

Peaceful cottage in Uplyme with far reaching views

Kilnside was rebuilt from an existing outbuilding into a luxury, self-catering cottage with work finishing at the beginning of 2020. The space now boasts a stunning open-plan, vaulted kitchen and living area with large bi-fold doors onto a private patio. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed with ensuite shower room. Both the bedroom and living room have a stunning view down the valley towards the coast at Lyme Regis.

Cosy up for a winter break in a beautifully converted old army truck with stunning views of Lyme Bay. In the winter months you have the whole field to yourselves, so it’s perfect for a romantic getaway. There are beautiful walks in the woods up behind my holding and a lovely riverside walk to the beach, which is perfect now the holiday crowds have gone. The truck is well insulated and has a wood burning stove.

The old writers Cabin is set in our woodland garden in the hills just 10 minutes away from Lyme Regis. The cabin has been handcrafted from oak and douglas fir to create a luxury and romantic space for two. With a cosy log burner, king sized bed with feather and down bedding, outside bath tub and shower, complete with stunning views over the valley, it really is the perfect space to escape the world and re-set.

Broadlands ground floor self catering apartment, located in the village of Charmouth, all accessible on the level to the beach, local amenities, cafes, pubs and shops. It is just one hundred metres from UNESCO World Heritage Site ‘The Jurassic Coast’ and it’s famous fossil beaches. Broadlands in Charmouth is an ideal base to enjoy the beach and the beautiful countryside of West Dorset.

(Unsuitable for children under 10 or those not keen to use the ladder to the mezzanine bedroom.)

It's an ideal retreat, or a base for a walking holiday or for a few days pause on a longer walk.
