House built around 1700 represents a historic monument where in 1911 a famous drugstore 'Drogerija Kanc' was founded by my G-G-father. This beautiful, cosy and spacious apartment is located in the heart of the historic city centre. It is located just below the Ljubljana’s castle. As soon as you leave the apartment, you are set in front of Shoemakers' Bridge. When staying in the apartment you can always be in the middle of happening in no time, with restaurants, bars and shops just around the corner, while still having quiet time in the apartment. We are happy to offer our guests a place that can make them feel at home.

The Riverside Home

Our home is empty most of the year as we moved abroad. After our own positive guest experiences, we decided to share our home with other travel enthusiast. We renovated and adapted the rooms for guests and hope you will enjoy the atmosphere and excellent location. The apartment is in a very old building on the 1st floor (w/o elevator) in the old town directly on the riverbank. It has a beautiful view of the river and in the winter of the castle when the trees are w/o leaves.

On the left side of the Ljubljanica river there is a magical alley, formerly called Ribiška street. There you can find our Home among roses, benches and trees, on top of the renovated house. An elevator takes us into the last floor where we enter an intimate bright apartment Kakadu ... with all the comfort you need. What makes it so special are peaceful mornings and subtle evening sounds of the streets ... and on the other side of our doorsteps everything is within reach.
