Your stay here will be relaxing and peaceful in a private and spacious suite with a private dock & kayaks. Located in Hector, you’ll be surrounded by wineries, breweries and farm to table dining. The bnb is located on the second level of unoccupied storage space but your entry requires just two steps as seen in the photos. The path to the lake is well lit a 60-90 second walk. I live between the bnb and the lake so I’m available at all times. Please read “The space” below for all the amenities.

Cayuga Lake Elm Beach Cottage #2

Cottage #2, at 6712 Elm Beach Road, Ovid NY, is a private setting, on a bank on the edge of host's woodlot. The screened-in porch overlooks Elm Beach, directly across the road. This cottage is to the right/north of Cottage #1. Each cottage is private, and has its own separate parking, stairs and entranceway. The property is at the middle of Cayuga Lake, in the heart of the Finger Lakes, with level beach frontage, fine gravel, right on Elm Beach Road, well away from State Route 89 traffic.

Just 2 miles south of Aurora, and a 5 minute walk to Long Point State Park with access to a public boat launch, swimming/playground/picnic area and stunning lake views. Heron Cottage is the perfect spot to enjoy Fingerlakes wineries & breweries and is minutes from The Inns of Aurora.

A magical treehouse perched over its own gorge on Cayuga Lake. This place is special! There’s a giant porch wrapped around a 300-year oak tree and a lakeside tea house that can serve as an extra bedroom. There’s a dock, fire pit, room for yard games by the water, plenty of outdoor seating on the porch, by the lake, or on the dock. All of this is minutes from downtown Ithaca, Cornell, and Taughannock Falls state park. It’s also a great base to explore the Finger Lakes wine region.

A-Frame on Keuka Lake

This house has a suite with a king bed, mini-kitchen, and a full bath (shower). There is a second bedroom with a queen bed and a separate bath (tub/shower). There is a large living room, a full eat-in kitchen and an outdoor grill. Extra seating including a dining table and picnic table is available on the deck overlooking the lake. There is a separate rental unit (Keuka Beach House) along the lake that shares the beach and dock, just a one-minute walk down the hill.

With the large wrap around porch, you will get lost in this beautiful setting while sipping on a glass of wine from many of our local Wineries. This property sleeps up to 6 guest, has 2 bedrooms up stairs and a large day room that can act as a 3rd.
