Meadow Cottage is a welcoming, cosy two bedroomed retreat raised from the ruin of a Welsh longhouse. It nestles in a beautiful valley flanked by trees and hills and is the perfect place for a relaxing break. As you approach the property along the narrow country lane, be prepared to fall into the embrace of this peaceful and tranquil location. The cottage is well equipped and has a pretty garden surrounded by fields and woodland with a patio for alfresco dining or just being at one with nature.

New barn conversion. I have tried to maintain the character. The decor is Agri/industrial, reusing as much of the raw materials around the farm. It has three king-size beds all on-suite. 1 x Very large bedroom upstairs with sofa and balcony and 2 smaller ground floor bedrooms. Each room has a TV and wifi. The main living room includes a kitchen, a table, a large L-shaped sofa and coffee table: an outdoor table and chairs, BBQ and a covered area for storing bikes and a EV Charger (50p/kw) etc.

Surrounded by green meadows our location is a haven for wildlife with red kites, woodpeckers, hedgehogs & hares frequently seen.

There is wi-fi, Sky TV and a cosy dining room with a log burner for the colder days (logs provided). It’s close to the beach at Pembrey & the attractions of the Carmarthenshire countryside. Holt Cottage is set in the countryside that Dylan Thomas would have gazed upon and has view of his Boathouse and Writing Shed.
