Remodeled in 2025. 1st floor: Big kitchen, dining rm, TV/sitting rm, 1st BR, full bath, cozy nook & laundry rm. Well-stocked kitchen. TV rm and BR are perfect spots for drinks & a chat. BR has comfy futon, sofa bed & privacy curtain. TV rm has new sofa bed, big TV, games for all ages. 2nd FL: king BR w/ half-bath, 2nd BR & big full bath with tub and sep shower. Relax in a spacious, private suite nestled on 1.5 acres in a premier birding area of Cape Island. You are staying in Cape May's original Lifeguard Headquarters, renovated with a new deck, patio, bathroom, and beautiful views of Shunpike Pond. Includes a private deck and patio, BBQ, parking, Queen bed, kitchenette with microwave, fridge, toaster, and coffee bar. The suite does not have a separate bedroom. It is attached to the main house. Beach tags, chairs, and an umbrella are included.

Inside, enjoy the newly renovated home. Refurbished original hardwood floors and a new washer and dryer.

Bordering acres of protected nature sanctuary, birders will find ample opportunity to observe coastal wildlife from the second floor lookout and large second floor windows.

The cottage is close to the premier birding area of the eastern migratory route , The rural setting is minutes from the city center, art and culture, restaurants and dining.Close to the Beach , Willow Creek Winery, Beach Plum Farm,Cape May Nature Conservatory, the Meadows and numerous hiking trails. The cottage is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. A quiet peaceful setting. The cottage is not childproof and not suitable for children 2 to 12 years.
