Welcome to our Hillside Oasis! Enjoy your own private spacious coach house with an unbelievable view. Come for some private seclusion away from the chaos of the city. This exclusive, stand alone retreat situated on 13.5 secluded acres has all those things city folk are looking for in a getaway. Panoramic ocean and mountain views from several decks, babbling brooks, forest bathing and even a beautiful Japanese Zen garden and fruit orchard. Organic Carina toiletries are also provided. Tucked into the forest canopy on Bowen Island, the Wildwood Cabins are authentic, hand crafted post and beam cabins built from local and reclaimed timber. Each cabin is clad in natural and charred cedar and is blended into the sword ferns, cedar, hemlock and fir trees that surround it. Oceanfront with stunning views of Howe Sound/Coastal Mountains (above photo). Close to town, ferry, restaurants. A 10 minute walk through our forest leads to our swimmable beach. Suite is newly renovated with stone fireplace insert, queen bed, new sofa bed, keyless entrance and private deck (bedding and towels provided). Kitchenette has microwave, small fridge, infra-red single burner, water dispenser, coffee/espresso makers, dishes, no sink (we do the dishes for you). BL#00000625

A short walk, bike, or drive up from the ferry dock in Snug Cove, Sweet Suite is a 1 bedroom suite that is perfect for a weekend or extended stay. Kitted out with everything you'll need, it is walking distance from the shops, galleries, and restaurants that dot Snug Cove and Artisan Square. You are also steps from dozens of forest and mountain trails for hiking and biking adventures. Spend days exploring or hang out in our garden, which is also magical for kids . . .

Lovely 1-bedroom ocean & mountain views cottage

One of Bowen’s favorite Cottages. Fondly known as the ‘Caboose’ as it's a separate living space from the main house located at the back of the property. A 10 minute drive across the Island from the ferry and the amenities of Snug Cove. Close to Tunstall Bay Beach, the oceanside trail and beaches in The Cape and one of the west side access trails to hike up Mt Gardner. Suitable for a quiet retreat for singles or a couples only. Secluded & Warm Mountain Airstream + Outdoor Tub

Introducing Moonshot the Landyacht, the Airstream at Wildernest! A perfect getaway just a 20 minute ferry ride from West Vancouver on the forested slopes of Bowen Island. This 1971 Airstream has been totally rebuilt into a super comfortable and memorable escape. It's a great couple's vacation, completely private on its own acre of land. There's a separate indoor heated bathroom and shower, plus an outdoor hot water shower and vintage bathtub built for two.

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
