Nestled in the picturesque Dorset countryside, this charming Portland stone cottage offers a quintessential English retreat. Set within the grounds of a historic Old Rectory, the property is surrounded by rolling hills, lush meadows, and the tranquil River Frome, providing an idyllic spot for a holiday. It is all on one level,we are able to rent out the whole cottage also which creates an additional 2 bedrooms for extended family - we rarely rent this out to another party and is mostly empty.

The annex is private and comfy, in a quiet country setting, located on the border of Dorset & Somerset, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The famous Jurassic Coast is a 20 minute drive and the closest pub a mere 2 minute drive away.(20 min walk) There is an open plan living room with double doors that open onto a deck over looking a private garden below. There are a number of scenic walks to explore from the annex. Crewkerne-a few minutes away has Waitrose, lidl, Boots, Savers & Poundland.

Lovely hill views from the garden with decked area and 3 excellent pubs all walkable from the cottage and just a 20 minute walk to the beach at Seatown. Buses every hour so you can walk one way and ride back. Spar shop with EV charging just down the road. The cottage sits within a ninety acre farm, Higher Easthams Farm.The market town of Crewkerne is a pretty, ham stone town that sits in beautiful countryside perfect for all manner of outdoor pursuits. The River Parrett and trail runs through the farm . We are only 30 minutes drive from the world heritage site that is the Jurassic coast, which has the towns of Lyme Regis famous for its fossils and Bridport which are popular for the beach and cafes.

Converted three bed stable - no children under 8

A converted stable on a peaceful farm surrounded by acres of countryside but within striking distance of Sherborne and good National Trust gardens. The Tallet is opposite the old farmhouse and next to a magnificent Somerset cider barn. The private terrace has a covered eating area and open lounging space enclosed by walls and clipped box hedging. The underfloor heating and electric log burner add warmth to the sitting room and the spacious open plan kitchen makes for a sociable space.

The Grange at Parnham Farm is a newly converted period former barn now offering a large three bedroom house with far reaching views over the River Brit in West Dorset. There is a large open plan kitchen and dining area for up to 8 people. The large living room has ample seating and a cosy log burning stove. There are three double bedrooms - all ensuite and king sized beds. It's great for families or groups for a peaceful getaway. Sleeps up to 8 people. Check out is at 10.00am.
