Billy and his wife were very welcoming. We had a cake baked for us and the apartment was very clean and homely.

We had a lovely few days here. The place was very clean and we felt right at home. The garden is enclosed and there were even treats for the dog and a crate already here. The place looks so adorable both inside and out it was a gorgeous place to be. We relaxed at the cottage on one day, explored the neighbouring coast, and took the train to Edinburgh. Perfect Easter break.

Emma’s place is lovely exactly as described. The garden was a great bonus hot tub was wonderful. We were in Newcastle due to the Magic Weekend so we used the house as a base for 2 families. Everyone had a great time perfect place for us to get together. Communications were very good.. Thank you Emma and your family for allowing us to stay in your home.

Great place for our family get together for mams 80th birthday. Nothing was a trouble to Malcom . Only thing I would suggest was a new dishwasher as the one there was a glass washer and wasn’t suitable for large amount of plates pans etc . We washed up i

What a gem of a place! The listing was exactly what was in the tin! The hosts are top-notch and have put a lot of thought and effort into their property and guests' expectations. A well thought out welcome pack for both humans and dogs. There are 7 different areas of seating around the property and grounds all with fabulous views and so you can watch the wide variety of wildlife. When we say the place was clean, it was spotless including the hot tub. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and user friendly. Plenty of books, DVD's, games, puzzles, maps and toiletries. Well recommended.

An excellent, clean property well located for our visit to the Northumberland coast. The site itself was very clean and safe for our grandchildren to play. Vickie was a responsive host who was always quick to answer our questions. The only drawback was poor WiFi and issues with connecting to 4G at times. However this did not spoil our stay one bit. Thank You

Great lodge in a convenient location. The lodge was well equipped with everything we needed, bedding and hand towels provided were lovely and clean. Self check in was really easy with instructions provided before arrival. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

We are returning guests to this lovely cottage in Norham. Amazing location with lovely walks right from the doorstep. The accommodation is comfortable, homely and quirky. Slept very well. Lovely touch of a gift for dog on arrival. Outside space is a lovely private and secure sun trap. We will definitely be back!

We loved Amble. It was completely new to both of us and it was delightful. With easy access to the more famous sites and some fantastic restaurants, still the highlights of the day were often the walks directly from the cottage to the beaches and the harbour area. Donny's Cottage is one of the very best airbnb's I've stayed in. It was pretty, very comfortable, had everything we needed - even good knives - and is in easy reach of the harbour. We were both able to park right outside the house. The only thing missing is outside space but it is so close to the green areas by the beach this really wasn't an issue. My little dog and I enjoyed our early morning and last thing at nights' trips down to the grass. As two friends travelling together it's sometimes hard to find properties with two double bedrooms, and two equally comfortable beds, but Donny's Cottage had 10/10 for that - and really everything else. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

Another great stay in a lovely house, excellent location, minutes walk to the beach and all amenities. Very clean and great communication. All rooms were very comfortable, home from home. Will book early for next year as it was quite expensive this time, but will definitely be back.

The photos do not do the place justice - it is absolutely beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. So much bigger than it looked online too and we had a great stay. The only issue we had was that the hot water stopped working mid way through the day. Elizabeth was super helpful and responsive to the problem but we had to be in Newcastle for early evening so it meant 6 of our party had to have freezing cold showers one day as the water took too long to come back on. Other than that, I can’t fault it. Surroundings are beautiful. So peaceful and yet close to shops, airport (25 mins), a gorgeous spa (matfen hall), and a 35 min minibus to Newcastle. Would recommend to all.

Very friendly and helpful hosts,greeted us on arrival and explained everything to us. We were just blown away with the chapel,Lisa and her husband did an amazing job restoring the chapel,very cosey and warming equipped with everything you need. We wouldn't change a thing about the place,in our eyes it was flawless and restored with a great passion. There is very nice walks through the countryside and rivers,with plenty of restaurants, take aways,pubs around the next towns within walking distance. We will definately be coming back that's for sure. thank you 😊

Lovely stay at seashell cottage. Large property , Clean and tidy . Thank-you to Jen for putting up the Xmas tree and making the house look so festive . Also thank you for all the extra goodies that were left. They were unexpected but a lovely surprise. The house is situated within walking distance to the beach, the Marina and the town . Had a wonderful meal in the Harbour inn which is just down the road from the house. Plenty of unrestricted parking also on the street . Across from the house is a field which is a great bonus for the dogs. The field runs down to the dunes and onto the beach . All in all a good place to stay and ideally situated for exploring other areas in Northumberland.

What can I say... Absolutely fantastic place. You couldn't ask for anything more. Really peaceful location with fantastic views of the hills etc. We had a strange issue but this was sorted out very swiftly by Malcolm 👍 We will definitely be looking to book again and have another peaceful time just watching the world go by. Honeymug provided the perfect backdrop for our group of six meeting up to reminisce about college days forty odd years ago! The cottage was comfortable and cosy and the welcome basket of goodies was indeed most welcome! Very comfortable beds to sleep off the long, coastal walks and swims in the indoor pool. We ate in The Bosk on our last evening and enjoyed it very much, having sampled the Friday evening pizzas too! Everyone was a fan of the outdoor jacuzzi, which we booked each evening and whirled away an hour chatting to the various local members we shared it with! Everyone was so friendly and we learned a lot about the area. Highlights were our boat trip to Inner Farne, an afternoon with the Chillingham cattle, and a day spent on the beautiful and peaceful Lindisfarne. We left feeling there was so much else to discover and we'll hope to be back to do just that! Many thanks John!

How was your host Nathalie is an attentive host, phone call on arrival as we’d got a little lost! Explained all facilities and gave us tips for days out & eating out recommendations. Perfect host. How clean was lodge Despite the smell of dog when we first entered the lodge, once we got inside & unpacked everything was clean & tidy. Plenty of cleaning products should we have needed them (we had brought our own just in case) Both bathrooms were clean smelt fresh. Facilities WiFi was a lovely addition, perfect for me to play on social media uploading my photos from each day. Lovely furniture with plenty of space to relax inside & on the deck. View of lake was stunning. Everything you need in kitchen & throughout the lodge from books, games, video games. Everything has been thought of. Thankfully the gas bottle held out. I did find this part a bit stressful. Understandably, Nathalie is concerned at the cost of gas bottles & fair usage of it. Perfect stay! We have loved it. Thank you

Fabulous little cottage. It's in a great area for nearby attractions. The Cottage itself is so pretty and contains everything you'd need. The games room, the pool and the chickens are an added bonus. We had a lovely stay.

The house was an absolutely perfect base from which to explore the surrounding truly beautiful area. I cannot thank Norma enough for providing us with a real home from home. It is an absolute necessity for one’s delight in this part if the country. We truly enjoyed ourselves and have returned with many happy memories of which the house played no small part. Many thanks!

We had an amazing stay at the Orchard hideaway - it is in beautiful, rural and peaceful surroundings, and is exactly like the photos. It is private, warm and very clean, the hot tub is great and well maintained, and the host has thought of everything to make it a comfortable relaxing stay. We would love to come back and 100% recommend!

Had a great weekend at Tumbler Rock Retreat with 8 family members and my dog. The house is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need. The garden was lovely and private with a fabulous hottub and plenty of seating. Really could not fault the house and there were 2 delicious cream sponges from the local bakers, bread and fresh milk waiting for us on arrival. The host Anthea was very friendly and gave us very clear instructions. The local village was great too with many nice places to eat that were also dog friendly. Would highly recommend and would stay again.
