Croft Cottage has been in our family for 100 years, so is steeped in family history and wonderful memories. The cottage went through an extensive redevelopment in 2020 to provide a modern, contemporary and well equipped home from home experience.

Only a short distance to the magnificent Shropshire Hills which offer excellent hiking and cycling and also only a short drive to Shrewsbury Town Centre which is famous for its medieval buildings, Norman castle and Abbey. The town is great for shopping and socialising and hosts a large number of independent retailers, excellent restaurants, traditional pubs and cocktail bars. We have good internet access and a smart TV.

A romantic historic tower for 2

The Summerhouse Tower is a very special holiday-home-for-two set within the rolling Shropshire countryside. A Grade II listed tower, this unique, romantic retreat enjoys excellent views to the east, and views of the Shropshire Hills to the south and the west. The Tower, built circa 1607, was originally used as a banqueting house for entertaining dinner guests. Whilst the main house was destroyed by a fire, The Summer House is available for cosy stays throughout the year.

Petit Blythe is self-contained and adjoins a charming cottage within a beautiful setting close to the River Severn. The ground floor features a sofa bed (additional fee for using sofa bed £15 per night) , TV and lounge area with a small dining table plus kitchenette. Country walks are on the doorstep and it is an easy 20/25-minute​ stroll into town, passing Theatre Severn and many bars and restaurants.
